I have a 24ft RV. I keep one in the dashboard and one in the living area in back and rotate them periodically. The baking heat of the daytime dashboard drys out the front one. I rarely bother to microwave them. Note that the indicator dot is not in anyway connected to the internal beads that absorb the moisture so, after you get to know the product, I recommend ignoring the dot. One of these days, I will get into the product and examine the beads directly but will have to do that in such a way that it still can be microwaved. They work slowly but adequately and I consider the two as essential equipment. I can definitely tell they work to moderate the living area and reduce (but not eliminate) the inside fogging of the front glass. But I do not routinely hangout in high humidity areas so YMMV. Also, don’t make my mistake and place the bag directly in contact with window glass (windshield or otherwise). Over time, the temperature differential can crack the glass.

I keep this product in a classic car that is currently under restoration and that has issues with proper sealing at the windows and doors. This product has managed to keep the interior of the vehicle moisture-free and dry in an area that is known for its relatively rainy climate, Seattle. I would recommend this product to anyone who looking for something to keep their car free from being damp and exposed to moisture.

Ich nutze den Pingi Luftentfeuchter nun seit Mitte Januar 2026 dauerhaft in meinem Auto und bin ehrlich gesagt positiv überrascht. Vorher hatte ich besonders an kalten und feuchten Tagen häufig das Problem, dass die Innenseite der Frontscheibe morgens nicht nur beschlagen, sondern teilweise sogar richtig nass war. Seit der Beutel im Auto liegt, ist dieses Problem praktisch verschwunden. Ich lege ihn je nach Bedarf entweder auf das Armaturenbrett oder in die Mittelkonsole zwischen Fahrer- und Beifahrersitz. Das Einzige, was man beachten sollte: Wenn er nicht gut liegt, kann er während der Fahrt etwas verrutschen. Das ist für mich aber nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt. Optisch gefällt mir der Beutel ebenfalls. Er ist schlicht, unauffällig und nimmt kaum Platz weg. Trotz seiner kompakten Größe scheint er eine erstaunlich hohe Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme zu haben. Besonders positiv finde ich außerdem, dass ich ihn bisher noch kein einziges Mal in der Mikrowelle regenerieren musste. Der Farbindikator war zwar schon einmal kurz davor, die Farbe zu wechseln, hat sich danach aber wieder normalisiert. Für mich erfüllt der Luftentfeuchter genau seinen Zweck und hat den Innenraum meines Autos deutlich trockener gemacht. Wer regelmäßig mit feuchten oder stark beschlagenen Scheiben zu kämpfen hat, sollte sich diesen Beutel definitiv einmal anschauen. Von mir gibt es daher klare 5 Sterne.
