Vetroo 1000W Black Power Supply, ATX 3.1 Ready Dual PCIe 5.1

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase! The standout feature for me is that it comes with two PCIe 5.1 connections, which is exactly what I needed to run two graphics cards in my rig without any bottlenecks. The performance is incredibly stable, and the build quality feels premium. If you're looking to build a high-end dual-GPU system, this is definitely the way to go. Highly recommended!

I'm seeing the other reviews and was skeptical about buying this PSU due to its affordability. I've had it for a few months now (April 2026), and so far it has fixed most of the issues I had with my PC due to a lack of power.It's not loud due to the sound of the fans overlapping it.Cable management is easy if you attach the cables to the PSU before putting it in the PC.I would recommend not using the ECO feature; instead, leave it OFF, as it can cause issues when it's supposed to distribute power to your entire PC setup.

Shipped with EPS12V (8-pin CPU) cable field connector wired IN REVERSE POLARITY! One of the craziest defects I have ever encountered--delivering +12V to the motherboard ground. Luckily, the PSU itself detected this dead short and refused to start 12V (and my motherboard was unharmed). To be clear: this issue was EASILY rectified by getting another EPS12V cable! The build also POSTs correctly just using the 4x4 CPU cables supplied, which are evidently wired correctly (how about that), although that is not an adequate power delivery connection for running the CPU under load.This severe problem with the supplied cable cost me a couple hours of troubleshooting because it is not visually apparent and only got noticed once a completely built out PC didn't POST. I had to pull everything out of the case and work through with a multimeter. And I am not happy about that. Whoever is in charge of sourcing or assembling cables shipped with this PSU needs a reckoning.As far as the PSU itself goes, I'm going to give it an "A" without reservation. It handled a dead short in the correct manner and proceded to work fine with correct cabling. Whew.

This is a great unit. I obviously haven't had it long enough to speak for it's longevity, but the packaging and perceived quality are top notch.Between the 10-year manufacturer warranty and my Asurion Compete Protect plan, I'm not too worried.I also needed an extra SATA cable loom (it comes with 2x 4), so I reached out to Vetroo customer support and for $7 shipped, I had one in my hands 2 days later.I took a chance on this unit because I needed a 1000W PSU the next day, and there was literally the only one that met that criteria late in the evening the day prior. I'm not regretting my decision.

UPDATE: After purchasing a different brand 1000w PSU for another build and discovering that it also made a similar noise, I decided to change my rating on this unit from 3 to 5 stars. The build quality and noise level is comparable to the Be Quiet Pure Power 12 M, but at a lower price.I purchased this PSU for a new build for my son. The quality of the product is great. It's well-built. But when I turned it on, the fan was making a faint noise. It's not coil whine, because if I turn on eco mode the fan stops and the noise goes away. I think the problem is they are using a cheap fan bearing in these units. I got a second unit because I thought maybe the first one I got had a bad bearing, but the second unit made the exact same noise. It's kind of annoying and noticeable (I'm half deaf too) at very low RPMs. I probably won't buy this again just for this reason. If you want to save a few bucks and don't care about the noise, then this PSU is fine to own. But if you want a truly silent build, do not get this PSU.

I didn't think about it when I bought this power supply, but it only came with 2 SATA cables for a total of 8 SATA power connections. Well I have 10 drives in my computer so... I also cannot use cables from other power supplies because this power supply is pinned differently. Many brands of power supplies sell extra cables. Not this brand. So, just be careful and make sure you get what you need.

This power supply is great! It's been running my rig since June 2025. ASRock 870 RS Pro, 9800x3d w/a thermalright evo 120 cooler (2 fans), ASRock 9070xt Steel Legend, 2x32GB DDR5 6000, 2TB NVME and 4TB NVME, and 5 case fans with leds on a lot (most things I added if there was a non-led option, I went for that), going to 2 monitors, 4k and 1080p. Installed easy, everything was standard. It matches well with my black case. I figured more was better than not enough and I love it!

Works perfectly, very quiet and is running a ryzen 9 7900 and 4 ssd with 3 had, a rx 9070xt and 6 case fans very easily! Easy to install and cables a good length with plenty of options. Edit- used for 1 week and the power supply has stopped working, i have returned it for a refund and ordered a msi mag 1000w psu, not sure if i would buy again, whilst it was working not a single problem until it gave up. Not sure if i just had a dud one.

Stay clear seen plenty people say this won't last 6 months and they are correct bought in January rarely every been used in PC and turned on now no power comes from it as others said will blow up and stop working in less then 6 months is correct.... Purchase date 06/01/26 stoped working dates 24/04/26 less then 3 months
