BTArtboxnails XCOATTIPS French Protection DUO - Builder Gel, Top Coat, 15ML

I LOVE these nails!! BTArtbox are my fave brand when it comes to press ons because their quality is consistent and they’ve never let me down. I can easily get 2-3 weeks out of their nails. I was looking for a classic French tip with a milky white base and came across these. I’ve never tried their XCOATTIPS before, but I’m obsessed! I was afraid the short length would be too short, but they’re not! They’re the perfect length without feeling too short or too long, so it’s easy to type and do other everyday things easily with these nails. I prepped my nails as usual and then glued these on. Prep is key to making your tips last long! I then applied the builder gel as well as the top coat that they sell and that is super important to ensure the white French tip doesn’t chip or fade. I haven’t had any issues at all! I’ve had these tips on for almost 2 weeks now and honestly I’ve been pretty rough with them, but they’re still going strong and look so good as when I first applied them on day 1! There’s so many size options as well, and there’s enough for about 5 sets so this is deff a great bang for your buck! They’re the perfect amount of thickness and look so natural! I’m so obsessed and these are going to be my new signature nail! Highly recommend!! Hey guys! I'm a nail technician and I love these! This shape is medium coffin nails. This is the first time I had nails this long. I love them. I got their builder gel and top coat for the French to protect the French from chipping. I also used their solid nail glue. The solid nail glue can be used to put on rhinestones. I also got the long square set I cant wait to try, and I want to try the almond as well as the solid colored ones. Tip for you is to prep your nails like your going to put on dip powder, or acrylic nails. Don't forget primer. That step is important. I did not put a base coat under these nails because I wanted to see if the chemistry of the glue and primer is enough to make them last. UPDATE!!! it's been 7 days. They are still going strong. All I used was dehydrated my nails with young nails swipe and went in with young nails protein bond and the btartbox nail glue. No base coat. They don't feel like they are showing signs of lifting either. Personal experiences: if you put to much glue and there is a blob under your nail it gets dirty and you can see the dirt under your nail because it's such a light shade of pink. Yes It was fully cured because I did a full minute on both sides top and my hand flipped up to make sure it was cured on all angles. I had to remove a nail the night I did this set because I messed it up. I will give btartbox credit it was hard-ish to remove this with 100% acetone. Which is fine because you don't want this to come off easily. My only complaint is it's gummy ( the glue I mean) while taking the nail off and get to the glue part. The nail soaks off easily. it's the glue that gives me the trouble. But since it keeps these nails on for a week I can not complain to much. Just giving you a heads up. Overall I recommend this product. I am actually impressed with this brand. Update: Pro(s): These nails will last and stay on for 2 weeks if you want them to.And the best thing is if you work with water it won't fall off if you take a shower like some press ons. Once they are on they are on. As time goes on the tarnish on the French isn't mustard yellow. Yes the discoloring turn yellow, but they don't look horrible. Con(s): The nails will last 2 weeks by staying on but they won't look sexy. I tried one hand with a heavy hand of the the builder gel and one hand with a light coat and both chipped after 7 days and there is a blackness that happens onto the sides. I wish I had a picture to show you but I forgot to take a picture. The chip happened on the left and right thumbs which isn't surprising because we use them a lot. No I didn't try to open anything with them. Also a big thing is to not get ANY glue under the nail to overlap and create a creator under your nail because it turns dark from dirt and nasty no matter how many times you clean it. I did it to the first nail I put on to see if It would cause lifting. It didn't but it was annoying seeing dirt under my nail from the over flow or glue under my nail. Conclusion: These nails will be perfect for the tops 5 to 7 days before they need to be replaced. The nails will last being on for two weeks but after 8 to 10 days they feel weak like they been on for 3 weeks. These are just my personal experiences with a first time use so give me time I plan on messing with it and seeing if I can make these look beautiful for more than 7 days. my goal is like 12 to 14 days. Still a very great buy.

These make me never want to go to the nail salon again! I love how easy they are to apply, how gorgeous and professional they look but most importantly how durable they are. These easily last me two weeks, sometimes longer. They aren’t flimsy like drugstore press ons. They don’t bend and break because they are way sturdier than your standard press on. You get multiple sets too, so for the quantity & the quality they are so worth it! I will be repurchasing these in the future

100% WORTH A TRY! I am now obsessed with this entire line. I am so impressed that I'm going to go this route which not only saves money, but time! This was my first time using QUALITY press-on nails after years of paying $$$$ for dip nails at the salon. I purchased this kit, along with xcoattip nails and nail dehydrator because I was going on vacation and had a packed work schedule with long hours the entire week before the trip, so it didn't give me any time to get to the salon. I purchased the multipack thinking I would need to do them several times while on vacation to get me through until I could go back to my dip nails when I returned...because drug store brands I had done in the past only lasted a day or two. LET ME TELL YOU!!! ONE set lasted me 3 WEEKS and only removed them because they were grown out and few lifted a little bit along the top that my hair would catch a little. The nails are thin but strong. I had so many compliments on them and I have told all of my close girlfriends how impressed I am. I am incredibly hard on nails because I run a construction business and constantly either doing a single dip myself (which always looked TERRIBLE) or at the salon for a cracked nail replacement. It took roughly 45 mins for me to prep the cuticles/nails and apply everything else. Here are the steps I took. Prep -cleaned the cuticle really well around the entire nail. -used a medium course foam file block across the entire nail making sure to get along the edges really well -scrubbed the nails well with dish soap (probably over kill, but I have oily nails and do this on my toes before polish for max adhesion) -wiped with rubbing alcohol -applied nail dehydrator Nails -I did one nail at time going back and forth between my right and left for each nail, I wanted my pointer and thumb fingers to be last. With the xcoattip uv glue on both my nail and press on nail - when you press the nail on make sure to go at the 45 degree angle per the instructions so there are no air bubbles and hold it down firmly so it's tight when you flash cure it. After all the nails are done I cured them for another 2 mins just to be safe. -filed nail tip to shape the little connector tab off. -applied and cured xcoattip primer, cured -applied one coat of UV polish to give a little more dimension to the nail (personal preference) cured -applied xcoattips top coat, cured -I am not the best at polishing, so cleaned up the polish the best I could around the nailbed before curing, but did end up also filing around the nail between coats. Removal is another story....it was difficult and took some time to get them off. I did buy a nail glue removed that kind of worked, but would have used the entire bottle...so I switched over to 100% acetone and soaked them for several rounds while loosening in between around the edges with a cuticle stick.

When I say, I love these nails. I absolutely love everything about the nails. I love the shape, the thickness and the overall look of the nail. I have gotten a number of compliments on the nails. I am always going to be a press on girlie. I have no desire to go back to the nail salon to pay those ridiculous prices! If you want something super cute and super convenient, then BTartBox has a number of different nails to buy. They last me for weeks with proper prep. Get you a really good primer and dehydrator combo and a really good nail glue. I've used Alisia and those nails never went any where.

The nails are thick and durable. I bought the gel x polish, uv lamp, and drill for this and the application was so easy and worth the investment in the tools! I’ll def be only doing press ons moving forward

I'm relatively new to false nails, although this isn't my first round. I prefer tips on the shorter side, and I use only air-dry glues and lacquers. These work with my preferences, and are also easy to apply and remove, shapeable, comfortable, realistic, durable, inexpensive, and can be painted without the need for buffing. The size (XS Oval) still has a bit of length (~4mm free edge on me, as I have shorter nail beds), but they aren't obtrusive. I have smallish pinky nails and flat/wide beds in general, and didn't have issues finding a fit. The cuticle area isn't terribly square but I do find that the larger sizes fit better if I round them off a little, as my cuticle line is rounded. They are easily reshaped with a 180/240 file, and they don't get too thick at the cuticle if you do so. The tips have a nice slight taper but they aren't too pointy. I have fair-cool skin and the Nude French shade doesn't pull too yellow or too pink; they look a hair peachier in sunlight than they do in overcast or indoor lighting, but not orange. They are slightly sheer so you should take your time to avoid glue bubbles showing through, but they aren't totally see-through like a jelly nail. I also like the matte clear tips in the same size/shape, which is what I use when I want to paint them. If you look into those, please note that those are currently listed on Amazon as XS Almond, but they are definitely the same size/shape as the XS Oval in the French tips, and are listed on the brand website as XS Oval as well. The attached picture is shown with sticky tabs from the same brand, unshaped and using a regular air-dry top coat (please note that they are matte without it). Shaping and using glue will give a more natural look, but they are passable even with a quick application unless you're inspecting very closely, IMO. I try to avoid using my nails as prying tools (I carry a blunt oyster shucking knife to use instead), and I reapply my top coat every 3-4 days to help protect the French tip, but otherwise I don't baby them; I do plenty of cleaning and lifting and pet-scratching and hand/face-washing and shampooing throughout the week. I have yet to have any of these nails break or crack on me, and pop-offs are very rare with a good glue. I usually like to swap them out every week or so just because I like to swap colors, but two weeks of wear is easily attainable; I generally don't go longer because by that point I start seeing a little grow-out, but YMMV based on how fast your natural nails grow. I imagine gel would give an even longer wear time, if I used it. For me these are among the best nails you can find on Amazon, and definitely worth the price, which currently comes to about $5 per application if you get them on Subscribe & Save (plus a few cents for glue/tabs and top coat). Honestly a very good deal for something comfortable and natural-looking that still gives me the flexibility to change them whenever I wish.

These look like real acrylic nails, you can't even tell that they're press ons. I've tried these both with gel and just nail glue. Both work spectacularly. Please do follow the instructions and be sure to put an extra gel coat on top of the nails, otherwise they will chip. The nails are thick and sturdy - never had them break or bend out of shape on me. 100% worth it.

I was never a fan of press-ons because I thought they always looked too fake, but these completely changed my mind! They look so natural and salon-done. I’ve already gotten compliments on them, and I’ll definitely be purchasing again!
