Sunnyvale Mixed Grain Organic Bread 400 g (Pack of 4)

I really like Sunnyvale/Everfresh Rye Sourdough bread, so I thought I would like this one. Alas no. Out of all the gluten-free bread I've tried, this was the worst - crumbly, dry and with such an awful taste I wondered if in fact it was a "faulty batch". Such a shame! This of course is just my personal opinion - I see others really like it.

Compared to the bread I really love it is awful. But 5 stars for filling a gap I so needed filling. It is a small dense and heavy loaf, and I can see why it would be crumbly if not cut with a sharp knife. I use it toasted with sauted mushrooms and spring onions, using some Hemp protein mixed in. Last night toasted two thin slices, slowly fried and caramalised onions, garlic and mushroom, and made two open burgers with lettuce. Absolutely delicious.

I completely understand people not liking this bread if they normally eat wheat and yeast breads. This is a life saver for people who have to avoid these ingredients. Useful tip-this bread has to be toasted! Do not try to eat it as it is. It still takes some getting used to.....I would like them to make a wheat free/yeast free bread that tastes better! It can be done-Dimpflmeier's. Unfortunately, we don't seem to be able to get this bread here-I'm trying to find an alternative. Waitrose now do some good breads-cheaper and much better tasting but not gluten free.

The worst bread I have ever had. Rock hard. Smelt off. Like it had been left somewhere an absorbed the odour of surrounding environment. Can I get a refund and return the remaining packs?

This bread is delicious toasted with sugar free strawberry jam on it. For folks who cannot eat ordinary bread or cake it is a life saver. It's more like cake than bread and you must toast it. It's chunky and filling and healthy. I bought a new bread knife to cut it, which works fine without breaking the loaf.

My son has problems with gluten, dairy and yeast and this bread is perfect for him! It has to be toasted and is very heavy but tastes quite sweet and he really likes the taste. Probably an acquired taste if you are used to yeast breads that contain gluten but definitely worth trying.

Complete waste of £11. Will not be ordering this again. Tasteless. Not what I was expecting at all. The size of the loaf of bread was a big surprise. And heavy!! could use all 4 loaves as door stops. We all make mistakes, and this was mine.
