I’m truly amazed how great this purchase turned out. I am using it to cook Asian food outside and very happy with the purchase.

This is a serious source of heat and works very well on both woks and flat bottom pans. Don't use it for low heat however, it will cover the bottoms of the pans with black soot if it is turned too low. When using with a wok, you can cook a meal in minutes without overcooking the food. Too little heat makes the food steamed instead of stir fried. With enough heat, everything stir fries perfectly.

Burns nice and hot, but it’s really bad with wind. It can be a little difficult to keep a constant heat, as the flame will slowly get weaker over time with a normal propane tank, requiring an occasional opening of the gas valve to keep the same flame output.

This 23-tip burner is well-suited for Asian-style cooking, but the flame is a bit hard to control. The operation and connection are very convenient.

I use this for wok cooking. It gets hot, fast and stays there. Just be careful or you will be burning off arm hair. Works great with a very high flame. Love this thing!

Use it for high temp wok. The food came out great. It is a bit scary when lit the fire since it is tricky to control the gas flow using the included regulator. I bought a long reach arc lighter just for this purpose.

The burner is very hot. It can turn your wok red hot if you want it to be; seasoning a carbon steel wok was a breeze. I made some alterations to the burner on one of the top sides. I riveted a piece of sheet metal to redirect the flames away from my hands without the added shield. I also added a ball valve at the burner so I did not have to mess with the regulator. When the burner is on full blast, it burns about 5 pounds of propane per hour. It puts out a scorching flame and can seriously hurt you if you don't take precautions. It signed all the hair off my arm one of the first times using it. Overall it exceeded my expectations, would purchase again.

This thing is great! I half to turn it down as it heat my oil and/or water extremely fast.
