I have 2 of these but give different readings. Can they be tested or calibrated in anyway?

Sorry I found them pretty useless different temp each time on same oven setting. would not buy another. Sorry if this isn't helpful

You can keep it in the oven I never take mine out the only exception would be when cleaning.
