I let my hair air dry. Can it be used on dry hair before using a curling iron?

Yes. It can be used as a heat protectant on dry hair. I use it on my daughters’ hair wet and dry as a detangler and heat protectant. Just be careful how much you use. I noticed if I put it on their hair dry it can look a little greasy if you put too much and don’t use heat. You can put it on your hair wet and let it air dry and it will still protect against the heat

Great Product for detangling wet hair - was good for my cat too

Love the Amika products and was glad I could get it on Amazon for a good price. This is a great detanlgler , smells nice and is great after shower to Brush quickly and detangle. I have also used this on my older cat who gets matted and worked great to de shed her as well, the knots came out easy and it did not harm her skin
