Nice gold for your projecy
This pen worked very well for my project. It doesn't dry immediately so be careful of accidently smearing it. A Q-tip fixed that problem for me. The color is nice gold and looks metallic. No smell that I noticed but I only used it to color a stitched name on the side of my custom converse. I say give it a go!! The pic doesn't do the ink justice I went over it again and it is much more gold and metallic. The thread was white to start with.

I used this gold paint pencil to refresh the lettering on my outdooor address sign. I am really pleased with the result!

This is awesome I use it for color on a firearm to color in a decal and lettering it looks like gold leaf.

Great.. BUT, need to review again later?
I loved the gold on metal. All was fine until I looked at it 3 days later. The color faded at the edge of the metal. About 1” in. Why?? Not sure, but it can be that the oil I used near the edge of the metal, was not dry enough and it leached toward the gold paint changing its color. I repainted it and I’m going to check it out again. Very strange, I’ll say that. Other than that, it worked very well. Smooth and shiny. Will report back with an update if needed.

fantastic marker
I use this marker for gold accents on paper. The gold "ink" is clear and bright, and looks great on plain paper or over watercolors. And very importantly, the nib works flawlessly. I just take off the cap and start drawing - never a clogged nib, the ink always flows easily. Very happy I got these. 💖

These pens are exactly what I needed. The paint flows smoothly and the double tip is fantastic. I have never written a review for a product, but this one floored me! Fantastic!

Great for touch ups
These gold paint pens worked very well for touch up on a Christmas decoration that was missing some gold leaf.

OES NOT WORK ON (shiny) METAL
This product DOES NOT WORK ON METAL as advertised. I was hoping to retouch a shiny golden buckle, but it does not work at all. Also, color is brassy and matte, not shiny gold. Very disappointed.
