I had to trip to take and needed to take my EpiPen. I usually just carry it around in my purse. But I would be going through TSA security and read that I had to disclose it. So I did some research and found that it’s supposed to be kept at a moderately cool temperature. I wanted to make sure that it would be ok on the plane even though it would be in my carry on bag. So I pick out one of these bags that stood out a little and I thought was pretty. It worked wonderfully. I could even fit both ice packs in it with my EpiPen plus a little empty spray bottle. The ice packs don’t stay frozen for very long. A couple hours max. They were thawed after my three and a half hour flight. But I’m sure it helped. I also discovered that TSA wants the packs to be frozen to go through security and not thawed or it’s considered a liquid. I don’t know how that would work on an international flight where you have to switch planes. It’s very durable and I thought the leopard design was fun and not so boring. It traveled great and took up little room in my carry on. I am very happy with the bag.

I purchased these for my 24 year-old son to carry his Epi-pens. He has been carrying Epi-pens since he was very young and the zipper had broken on the case he's been using. I tried purchasing two other cases and he did not like them because they were too bulky, heavy, or not discrete enough. He is very happy with this case. It is just perfect. It is compact and has a nice black-gray color. He can put it in deep pockets if he is wearing athletic shorts or he can easily stick in his work backpack or pickleball bag. We removed the gel packs that come with it and may use them for other purposes, as Epi-pens generally should not be put on ice. In this case, he can fit two Epi-pens, plus he added 4 doses of individually wrapped Benadryl. He could also easily store his ID, credit card and some cash, too.
