Kotulas Jumbo Steel Garden Wagon — 1400-Lb. Capacity

There are multiple complaints that had I known before I purchased it, I would have just bought a more expensive one to save on the headache.First are the instructions. They are poorly translated from Chinese or whatever language they were in originally, so they are not in complete sentences and do not make sense. The pictures are also so dark that you cant rely on them to fill in the gaps for what your cant understand by reading them. I had to use my phone, pull up the actual pictures from the listing on Amazon and zoom in on different spots for guidance on what goes where. The whole process was very inconvenient. This brings me to the second complaint, which was the major one.Missing Parts. There were major parts missing, that without them, the cart is unusable. The steering control are was missing. Without it, you can't control the front wheels to steer it at all. I had to buy fabrication metal from tractor supply to make my own. There was also a front support arm missing. Without it the front section of the cart wont support any weight without collapsing the front section with the wheels. The bolts needed to attach the support arms were supposed to be pre-assembled to the support arms. They were also missing. I had to buy four(4) bolts, washers and lock nuts from tractor supply also. I was able to make my own support arm by cutting a piece of conduit and flattening/bending the ends, and drilling holes in them. Why do all of this work and buy all of these pieces? This brings me to my third complaint.Customer Service. Their customer service is non-existent. The number that you call, is to the sales department. You are going to sit on hold for a loooong time so the person that answers can tell you that you are not in the right department. They will then transfer you to a number that will ring, and no one will answer. I then sent a message through amazon with no response for a couple days. After building my own replacement parts and finishing the assembly of the cart, I received a message saying that the parts that were missing are on back order until late August (this purchase was made in late May). So I guess what they area saying is if you order one of these carts, you will receive it with whatever parts are available at the time and you will have to make/buy the rest yourself.Overall the cart is pretty sturdy once I finished building it. 1400 lb capacity, I don't think so, but its okay. Bottom line I would steer clear and probably just buy a different cart from a different seller.

Instructions were very blurry and hard to read. Took me hours to figure it out and I have the ability in putting things together. The back axle where attached to bed of card was bent forward where is bolted to bed. Was unable to bend, however, got it bolted in with grave difficulty. Good news is appears very sturdy and easy to maneuver and all the parts such as bolts and nuts, cotter pin and cart parts were there. Maybe consider clearer printed photos/drawings with different views and better explanations of what bolt goes to what by using the letters instead of the weird this bolt and that bolt named with numbers. Would make a lot less confusing to decipher and for quicker assembly. All and all I am please now it is put together...finally.

After reading the reviews on the wagon I was expecting to have to get some hardware in order to put it together. The hardware was all there but the loose nuts that were screwed onto the bolts had come loose and were floating around in the box. The box had a hole worn in it and with a little more jostling around the nuts and bolts would have disappeared. The instructions were not well interpreted and the descriptions were not consistent making them confusing. The pictures were not very informative. It went together fairly well but I was a maintenance man and was somewhat used to assembling without pictures. If the instructions and packaging were improved I would have given it 5 stars.

Shipping was fast. As others have stated, the directions are a joke, and it comes completely dis-assembled. Loosely translated from what I assume was Chinese, the pictures are fuzzy Xerox and dark, part descriptions are humorous if you've got the time. Hardware and wheels are good quality, and everything really does fit together well so it is well designed. The side and front/back gates are a little flimsy, I'd recommend this for general yard stuff or firewood which is what I use it for. Probably not up to the task for masonry, scrap iron, or more than 3 dead bodies. Overall a decent value for the money.

This is a solid cart for the money. I think that the load capacity is derived from the rating of the tires, which I assume to be 350# each. Four tires would give a load capacity of 4 x 350 = 1400#. That is the weight of two 460 ci Ford 8 cylinder truck engines. Perhaps the cart would hold that amount, but I think that the "safe working load" would be more like 400#. The instructions contain a Spanish word, deslizalos, which I believe means "slide", in steps 4B and 5B. The reference is to how the bolts slide into holes that are pre-drilled into the bed.

The package was pretty torn up when delivered by FEDEX.Luckily, no pieces were missing. But the packaging was pretty shoddy.I have not used it yet, but I am not impressed by how very thin the steel is for the side frames and the screening used for the bottom and sides.Welds are sloppy and general fit and finish is not high quality at all. That being said, everything fit together as it should.I will follow up once have a chance to use it.

Great cart, much more useful than I had imagined. Sides are a bit frail and one side was received bent slightly. I doubt I'll use them so no big deal. However, I can't imagine this can actually haul 1400 lbs. And without a garden tractor hitch? Turning radius is ok but not great. A better turning radius would be dangerous with a load but when pulling empty a better turning radius sure would be nice. It replaced my wheel barrow for many tasks.

Bought this to haul around my older dog that can no longer walk. Instructions are terrible and pretty much useless or id give 5 stars. Bolts were lost when packing came apart when shipped. Once put together its a good wagon for the price and strong. Does what I'd hoped...nice and secure with a 3" foam pad added for my old girl.
