Love the fireplace! However way to short for my taste. Had a 19” base made for it and am very happy now

Since this fireplace was so heavy to bring into my house AND I assembled it myself, it was VERY discouraging to find a 1 1/2 inch gash in an outside side panel. I will have to fix myself after purchasing this brand new item. Check your pieces before you assemble OR go with a different product. I am editing this review as I found that the screws needed for the fireplace insert (DD) were NOT included. Now I have to make a run to Home Depot. I am disappointed in this product.

The description says NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED as of 4/4/23. It comes in about 100 pieces and took me 4 hours to put it together. Its a lovely piece but some of the hardware was missing. There is no way to contact the seller as there is no link to that service. Amazon is trying to help but they cannot reach the seller either. Its a heavy piece and a bright white ( no woodgrain showing) so exactly what it shows online. Trying to locate the manufacturer but it was made in China so this is frustrating. Overall, I absolutely love it but the problems are discouraging. Make sure you have every piece of hardware before you put it together because you can't get missing parts and have to send the entire unit back.
