They do the job very well
One of the best things about them is that they're flattened in the middle so that the little spoon-shaped end doesn't run the risk of rotating in your fingers when in use. Also, being stainless steel they are both robust and easy to clean. (But like all such ear probes you need to use them with care as otherwise you could damage your eardrum.) Very good value for money -- and as they're small and therefore easy to lose it's nice that they come in a packet of three.

It's phenomenal!!!
I'm a first year medical student and I used to be so bright eyed with wonder. As time went on, I started doubting my decision to take medicine as study material piled endlessly. I felt as if I was swept away by a tsunami of assignments, numerous and complicated lectures. I asked myself everyday, "am I meant to be here?" Or "Is this what I'm meant to do?". My life changed when I ordered three steel silver ear pickers by Oceanmap Co. Now, everyday after lectures I rush home to feel the sweet metallic caress of Oceanmap's brilliantly designed ear picking thingie. The feeling of shovelling out dark yellow gunk from the dark recesses of my ear canals just filled me with meaning. It was transient. Fleeting. It no longer matters to me that my life is slowly drifting out of control. It matters not that the voices I've been beginning to hear heralds my descent into madness. All that matters is the loving touch of my Oceanmap Co. ear cleaning thingies. 10/10

Buyers Beware!
The ear picks I were sent were nothing like advertised. They are 2 inches long at most and have some ridiculous heart trinket at the end of them. They are sharp and caused my inner ear to bleed, I've since thrown them all away. Utterly disgusting that they are so brazen to send them to buyers.

Can't use them at all (even though they look very nice and shiny)
These are much too sharp for my use. Can't use them at all (even though they look very nice and shiny).

Not easily digested, otherwise fine.
They have a little plastic tag on one end, presumably to stop you puncturing your ear with the wrong end of the stick. Decent quality metal for the price. End is shaped more like a hoe than a spoon, which wasn't obvious from the picture.Packaging wasn't basset proof. This, like any self-inflicted deafness, is not really the seller's fault. I just mention it because, as it turns out, bassets can't digest these sticks and vets can get very expensive.

Good product, glad I found it here.
Been searching for ages but didn't realise Amazon would sell this.Good, easy to use and keep clean. If we all listened to what doctors have to say, where would we be? If you want to take your doctors advise then don't give this product a ONE star rating, you stupid person, the Chinese have been using something similar for centuries, no burst or injured eardrums there, all this is to be done with caution, but for those with no sense of feel then this is not for you.I for one am fully aware of the risks but I had one before and will continue to use it for a good clean!

Simple, cheap and highly effective
This is a simple, excellent wax remover. It is stainless steel (not aluminium, reviewer Kenshin). It's about 8cm long. As with all ear equipment use with care and scoop gently.I have tried many - more expensive - wax removers, and this has been the most satisfactory. And the cheapest by a mile.

Too wide
I've used an ear scoop before which worked fine. My previous one was more rounded. But this one is rather wide. I'm 1.71cm tall, maybe my ear canal is smaller? Having 3 in pack is good but unfortunately all are same size.
