Happy with it. Works very well so far.
This g13 is a great little phone for sure at the offer price under £90. I just changed the lock and home screen savers from the great built in selection choice and now it looks like a very expensive phone with the great vibrant colour screen once I had set the nice neutral warm colour tone that I liked. I bought it just mainly as an internet hotspot home phone and this has shown me that I get about 20mb/s speed though it does vary quite a lot with it's 4g but my g73 seems to show 40mb/s when it is set on 4g but maybe it's actually working on 5g as I only get about 50mb/s set on 5g. So if I need extra hotspot speed then I will have to use the g73 set to 5g otherwise this g13 seems to do the job just fine. I'm using it to post this now without any issue. The PC just auto connects to it once I set that up. The G13 also automatically disables the hotspot after I switch off my pc and to wake the phone to switch the Hot Spot back on I only need to lift the phone and the movement activates the lock screen and I can then swipe down to get to the hot spot button without even unlocking the phone so it's all pretty well automated though maybe I should be looking at voice activating the hotspot perhaps to be even lazier. or I can jut set it t be left on until I manually switch it or the phone off. The g13 is maybe better in some ways as the camera for video seems to work better having a better zoom reach than the g73 and they both seem too have good editing capabilities built in like zoom crop on videos etc. They are both fine and on a budget the g13 is the easy pic but if you don't mind spending more then the g73 is better spec'd and I like that both these phones came with the rubber back case which they seem to have cut from the newer models. I'm still actually in the process of getting to know both G13 and G73 as I haven't actually used a mobile much for a long time and my old phone had all the basics but is now not up to speed though still fine as a basic phone and camera but obviously there is a lot more to these newer models. I studied electronic systems 30 years ago but I still find it amazing how the general public get to grips with all of this tech stuff as it is fairly complicated, well definitely different from 30 years ago when the first mobile phones were just appearing.

Unbeatable value at this price point
SUMMARY An excellent phone at a bargain-basement price. WHAT'S in the BOX The phone is delivered in a fairly standard phone box. The box contains.... G13 Phone Silicon rear cover Mains charger (Turbo) Pin for opening the card tray CONSTRUCTION The 6.5 inch phone feels solid in the hand. It looks and feels well-made and robust. Buttons have a positive feel. Layout is intuitive and well thought out. SCREEN The screen is bright, text is very sharp, colours are accurate. AUDIO The Dolby Atmos Stereo is excellent. Music is well defined and rich. Phone calls are clear both in speaker and private modes. BATTERY and CHARGER The 5000 mAh battery provides excellent battery life. A test with WiFi, VPN and AntiVirus running in the background indicated that the phone would last for 10 days on a single charge. The supplied turbo-charger will charge the phone from 10% battery to full charge in under 2 hours. INSTALLED APPS Motorola phones are known for a very clean install, no bloatware. The G13 continues that tradition. The installed moto apps are functional and would provide exactly what many customers require. The installed Android apps provide for a very clean Android installation. Well done Motorola...:-) The user can of course uninstall unwanted apps and installed wanted apps from the Play Store. ANDROID The phone is supplied with Android 13 with a free upgrade to Android 14. The upgrade can be either manually or automatically installed. Security updates are installed automatically. COMMENT Recommend - Yes. Purchase again - Yes.

Good budget phone
I bought this to replace an old Samsung Galaxy S9. The main selling points for me were price and claimed battery life. Overall I'm very happy with the phone. The only apps I really use are whatsapp, reddit and chrome, maps and the phone is more than capable for this. For apps like this performance is on par with my previous phone. I don't play games on the phone so don't know how it would hold up against more demanding apps. Pros: - Price - This was the main reason I bought the phone, it was pretty much the cheapest phone from a brand I had heard of - Battery life - I have got about 2 days of moderate use out of it without charging - Came with a pretty basic gel case with a slight lip to around the screen, which has already saved the screen from a drop - Camera is more than good enough for my purposes Cons: - Build quality - it is a plastic chassis, and feels very cheap in the hand - Screen quality - My eyes have got used to it now, but the display is significantly worse than my old phone (Samsung S9). It is an LCD, the colours are much flatter than an OLED, image is less sharp. Not a deal breaker for me, but it is immediately noticable. - User Interface - I prefer the Samsung UI, it also had several pre-installed apps I didn't want

Excellent!
A 12th birthday present for our daughter - and she is chuffed. You certainly get a lot of mobile for less than £100! The display is particularly good for the price and the mobile copes well with most common or garden Apps. I did add a 128gb SD card to ensure there's plenty of memory. Setup was straightforward and thankfully there is little bloatware (which we eliminated - see NOTE below). WiFi works fine and we have made a number of telephone calls and sent texts without issue. Importantly for our daughter, WhatsApp works fine! Unusually these days, the device has a standard jack socket for some earphones. Excellent 👍 Battery life is very good and the fingerprint sensor and facial recognition work well. A number of system software updates were immediately automatically downloaded. The mobile is well made and came well packaged with a UK power adapter, USB-C cable and a gel case. I just added a glass screen protector to keep things safe. For the price, and with next morning delivery, I am very impressed. OK, this device doesn't support 5G but 4G works fine almost everywhere and WiFi provides fast access when available. NOTE:- When deleting the Motorola bloatware, first let all of the Motorola updates complete. Otherwise, it will reinstall them. A game I played twice before I realised why the Apps kept reappearing!

A Good Phone
Great phone for the price. Bought it just over a year ago as my everyday phone and it does all the things you expect of a smartphone. Currently using it a lot for ChatGPT which is fast on the phone while ridiculously slow on Windows. The camera isn't up to iPhone standards but is adequate for everyday snaps. The display is large and clear. The battery life, as advertised, is extremely good. I have no complaints about this phone at all.

Choose wisely, read review!
It's a phone by a respected manufacturer. It's very good quality and does exactly what I want it to do. Don't buy an iPhone, Pixel, Galaxy just because everyone else has one. Be an individual, use your eyes and intelligence.

Decent cheap phone
Not a bad phone updates the playstores apps quickly and easy to navigate. The screen is nice and clear and the battery is a decent one. Build quality is good. Only down side is that sometimes the chips inside do sometimes take you back to the home screen when your using apps. Obviously that's a software issue.

Was OK; now rubbish.
EDIT: A couple of months in and irritated enough to drop a star and advise caution before purchase. Multiple apps occasionally stop for no apparent reason and music hiccups when another app is opened. The latter is not a huge deal but I've never experienced it with other phones and suggests to me, at least, that something is not quite right with the phone's workings. EDIT2: phone now freezes and then reboots for no apparent reason. Happens about once a week. Down to one star. Suggest you look elsewhere. In the olden days, a £100 purchase would have lasted a lifetime. Times have changed ... For what it's worth: I have little experience of smartphones, certainly not expensive ones, and don't want to shell out lots of money. I wanted a basic phone for on-the-go texts, emails, web browsing and even the occasional phone call, around but not much more than £100 - less if possible. Not bothered about the camera particularly but it's useful to have. There's loads of choice, of course: beware the paralysis of choice. This was £86 at purchase and includes a case. The reviews I read (TechRadar, etc) say this is a great budget phone with some reservations, which I took into account when choosing. Yes, it did take an hour and a half to charge from 50%; no, I don't think the camera is anything special; I have noticed the (very minor) lag and judder on occasion, but only because i had read about it. Other than that it does everything I need it to with little fuss. Even I know that Moto is a reliable brand and I'm very happy with this phone. It's significantly less annoying than the Xiaomi it replaces.
