This is the spectacular final chapter to the trilogy that started with their 2019 debut album, Sundowning. More than an hour of music across 12 distinctive tracks, it features the heaviest moments thus far recorded by Sleep Token ("Chokehold" & "The Summoning"), along with some of the most commercial and certainly the most emotional, with a slew of other tones, textures and tangents touched on in-between. Sleep Token boldly reconfirm a true love of the epic (the title track is eight minutes plus), whilst further exploring and developing those elements that keep the music removed from any kind of pack, howling at a moon that's all it's own. What comes next, only time will tell, but what's certain is that it won't be bound by convention.

Possibly the greatest album I’ve ever heard
I’ve listened to a lot of music over the years, spanning genres from classical to EDM and nearly everything in between, but this takes the top spot. I haven’t listened to an album on repeat like this since I was a teenager and heard Ænima for the first time. It’s just so good, so varied, so incredibly personal. Vessel has been through some stuff and turned it into a hauntingly beautiful album. Major props to II because he’s really how I got into them (randomly watching Danny Carey go ham on Pneuma).Favorite tracks: all of them (no, really)The one with the most feels: Euclid (I dare you to watch them perform it live and not bawl at the end)The one that made me take notice: The SummoningSo yeah, worship.

Beautiful!
Such a beautiful vinyl! Of course this entire album is fantastic (as to be expected from Sleep Token). TMBTE has really become a monumental album for the band, so I had to get a special edition of the vinyl to go with my others.

Every Track Is Original and Revelatory
I am in awe of the creativity, work, and ingenuity that went into writing and producing this album. The coherence of the themes makes it both a standalone masterpiece without compare and a final third album in the Sundowning/This Place Will Become Your Tomb/Take Me Back to Eden that closes with positivity, wistfulness, and wisdom. I want to start the first album as soon as the last track of Take Me Back to Eden finishes, and I often think, "I can't wait to get to one track!" only to replay the current one multiple times. We are not going to see a CD like this again -- unless Sleep Token/Vessel makes another, and in any case, I am sure that the world will continue to benefit from his endless, beautiful artistic viewpoint in whatever form it takes, even if it is just to review the corpus repeatedly.

What isn’t to love about Sleep Token? I know their music is subjective and they aren’t for everyone. But this album is amazing. I’m starting to grow my vinyl collection, and this was my second addition. I’ve listened to it many times already. Perfect.
