This locking bike box is a game changer!!! I actually received the first one and unfortunately it was locked and NO way to get it open!!! I spoke with customer service and they said no problem, dispose of it and I received the replacement the very next day as promised. My initial concern with this box was that in some reviews it was mentioned that it was easily opened when it was locked. The fact that the first one was shipped to me locked gave me the opportunity to 'find out for myself.' It was no easy task getting into the locked unit so I assume that the manufacturer has upgraded the box now. So... the build quality and functionality are perfection. The mounting system and fit on the eBike are perfect and secure. There are no straps used in the mounting but rather a steel u-bolt which makes it very sturdy!!!

I bought this thing twice, so I thought I know a thing or two about it. The first time, I received a package that has the key item (tool used for installation) missing. I requested a replacement and did install the second time around. It's an idea for suitable functionality but poorly designed and implemented. The door/cover of the box fell off during the installation, though it's not too hard to squeeze it back - but that says something about its quality. The worst part is its mechanism to change the security code: you need to extend your finger inside to reach the lever, which is made into a thin piece of metal (think of a blade). I struggled with various cloth/rubber/foam materials so that the process would not be that painful, but at the end, I still wasn't able to set the 3-digit code. It's that ridiculous. After now about 24 hours, my fingertip still feels sore.

Posting this to see if this helps out anybody. It's a known flaw that this 'security' box is not actually very secure, as you can just jiggle the turning knob and able to open the lock without using the correct pass key. The problem is that the lock has WAY too much free play movement on the locking bar holding the door, to the point where you can just brute force the knob open. I was able to fix it using a 1" L bracket I bought at home depot for about a dollar, and glued the piece close to the where the bar swing stops when locked, as shown in the picture; that way the locking bar has a solid metal edge to latch onto and you can no longer force the lock open. Use a strong permanent glue for this project, I personally used epoxy and it worked great! At the end of the day this is still just a plastic box, so don't store anything too valuable in there. Hope this 'fix' helps someone out.

The intention of the product is great but it doesn’t actually fit any of my bikes so it’s going to waste

This unit is ok, the size is a bit bulky for my preference. But trying to read those jacked up instructions with bad (way too dark and grainy) pics for setting/changing the default combo was very challenging and unpleasant. Had to search for a HowTo video to finally achieve the task.

Great for the price. Thick plastic, decent enough lock. I wouldn't leave any high dollar items in it, in a riskier area. Good enough for my tools, patch kit and pump.

Notice the box it comes in Doesnt show the mount on a bike. Just a digital version where it would go. Doesnt work. Complete craps.

I could 1000% break this open if I really wanted, but it is enough of a deterrent it keeps honest people honest. I store a charger and a tool kit for my scooter in it and it’s nice. I wouldn’t store anything more valuable, not your keys in it. It is a pain to get on and off so ensure placement the first time. It’s also a bit weird to open and close but for the price it’s wonderful and I feel better than just having stuff in a bag anyone could go in or take.
