Very Disappointing
After completing all the tracks of this game on the 'hard' level in one night (about 2 hours of gaming) I don't think I need to go any further on the 'lastability' or ease of this game.Six main characters with a car each, with whom you can compete in London, then UK, then International tournaments (each having to be completed in turn). After winning the International tournament with a character you win an extra car for them.Only two tracks in London (run forwards then backwards to make four), one in Edinburgh (again forwards and backwards) and one each in Las Vegas, Chicago and New York. The sights are quite good, but the novelty soon wears off, as the racing is rather dull, unchallenging, and the control is rather odd. The graphics aren't the best, and the 'radio' music just gets annoying with the same DJ segments being repeated over and over.Diverting, for a short period of time.I'm trading it in and getting Gran Turismo 2.

Oh dear!
London Racer 2 is a disappointing game due to many reasons:1 The graphics are very flawed. When the PSX first came out they would have been considered good, but that was eight years ago now.2 The tracks are surprisingly unrealistic. I was hoping that the tracks would bear some resemblance to London and the other cities in the game but all the landmarks are in the wrong place and the roads unrecognisable.3 Mixing of realism and unrealism. The game tries to be 'real' but involves picking up floating 'health' 'turbo' and different colored floating '£'s. This is fun but much more remiscant of Kart Racers which London Racer 2 is not.4 It is WAY too short. There are about 5 tracks played in both directions to make 10. This is an unacceptable length. However it can be enjoyable but you've seen it all before. A game for die-hard racing fans only.
