The item that I purchased came complete with two filters.

Will this fit under my Welding mask and is it suitable for the job

A bit too bulky for under a welding mask . But I have seen welding masks incorporating a breathing filter .

Do these filters fit the 6000 series 3m masks ?

These filters are only compatible with JSP Force™8 half -mask and JSP Force™10 full face mask.

How often should filters be replaced?

Once opened from package the supplier states maximum 28 day life. If breathing gets difficult it's time to discard. See link https://www.jspsafety.com/link/en/respiratory-faq/e/
