LEVOIT Air Purifier for Home Pets Bedroom Dorm Room Washable Pre-Filter

We recently moved somewhere with dry air and get pretty dusty. My allergies just went nuts. I was constantly sneezing even though I clean and vacuum everyday. I purchased this air purifier in hopes of helping involve the air quality in my home. I placed it in our bedroom and it has been a game changer. My sneezing has reduced significantly. The air seems fresher. I like the light indicator that lets me know when my air quality is good/bad. I usually keep it in auto and it’s perfect. I have the light detection toggled on in the app which automatically turns off the lit display on the unit when it senses that the room is darker. The app is amazing. It has extra feature that isn’t found on the unit itself; like pet mode. It also keeps me updated on my filter life. Noise level on high isn’t really bad. We do sleep with white noise so we don’t really hear the air purifier at all. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase and I will most likely be buying additional units to place in different rooms around my place.

I decided to splurge and get one of these as I heard they are good at lowering the dust levels, and over the years we have acquired six cats, so was hoping this in combination with my robot vac would help with the cat hair. I parked it in my living room which is right by my kitchen and we have open floor plan, had just been wandering how big of a difference it was truly making when my 14 year old decided to make herself a grilled cheese, on high heat, in a stainless steel pan 🫠 the app alerted me that the air quality was bad so I ramped it up to the highest speed level and in only thirty minutes the burnt smell and smoke was completely gone. Normally I would have had to open the windows and fan the front door open and shut like a crazy person. That capability alone has made it worth it to me. As far as features, I haven’t used sleep mode but I did set up a schedule. The highest setting is loud but that’s expected, the lower two settings are very quiet. Appearance is nice and modern, and you can turn the display lights on and off or set them to automatically go off once it detects darkness. Overall I’m really glad I bought this.

I absolutely love my Levoit air purifiers! I have two and they are the best. So easy to set up, easy to operate, quiet and efficient. Nothing complicated at all. Easy to clean. Tells you when it needs cleaning and so easy to reset and get back to business. Keeps my rooms clean of excess dust. Definitely a quality piece.

I have to start this review with I was VERY skeptical of air purifiers! I have guinea pigs and due to some allergy issues I was forced to invest in a good air purifier. My husband has done HVAC work his whole career and we have THE BEST system, air flow and filters in our house so I thought adding an air purifier was really not needed. Boy was I wrong! This air purifier has exceeded ALL of my expectations and tests. If you know anything about guinea pigs they have to have a lot of hay and can be a little stinky. With this air purifier you would NEVER know that I have guinea pigs it takes all the smell out of my office. It’s truly amazing! I honestly cannot believe the difference it has made in my office and my health. I love it so much I bought a second one for my living room. I also added the smart humidifier, I am and will be a HUGE Levoit fan/customer from now on I promise you that. They have definitely made a believer out of me. One more thing, the auto option on these purifiers is wonderful, you can set it and forget it and it will do everything you need it to do. Honestly I forget it’s even in the room it’s so quiet! Things I love the most: - clean air - takes away smells - it’s super quiet - the app is amazing, you can track the air quality and get alerts. Cons: There is NOTHING that I don’t like about this air purifier!

I have pets and since the pet hair is a main reason for me to have a filter in the first place, one feature I insist upon is a washable pre-filter. This allows me to wash away trapped dust and pet hair and really extend the life of my HEPA filters. It's also great to be able to literally see all the hair and dust being pulled from the air. The app is actually fantastic and very easy to use. Love that Alexa connects and helps me change up settings and that has been flawless. The auto functions works beautifully, as I can watch the device change color and change settings according to air quality. If I blow out a candle, spray perfumes or leave my bedroom door open I can see it work in real time. There is still some dust that settles in my bedroom but overall the air smells so much better. I live in brick ranch built in the 60's and a lot of the building materials, including tile and cabinets are original. I also live in the hot and humid Deep South so that combo is not great in the summer. This really gets rid of the damp and musty smells. I have a ton of an allergies and this really helps me sleep at night. Very pleased and just bought a second one for another bedroom.

Easy to use. The app is pretty cool since you can monitor the air quality indoor and outdoors and turn it on and off remotely. The outer filter is reusable and very easy to clean and there and third party filters. This unit does the job even with two huskies. It can sense the bad air with the gas oven is on and automatically turns up the setting in bad air quality. I bought mine three years ago and I want to replace my honeywell with this

It’s very good. This is my first one, and I’m extremely happy with it. It has a feature that allows you to control and customize it from your phone. You don’t have to be home to operate it. It has many different settings and modes. It’s extremely quiet and easy to operate. It has really helped with the air quality and I have noticed that the cat hair is a lot less noticeable since I started using it. I highly recommend it.

I have had several air filters over the years and have always been slightly disappointed with them and unsure of whether or not they are truly helping. After doing a lot of house cleaning and dusting, I wanted something to help maintain cleaner air so I tried this. I can honestly say this is one of those rare semi life changing purchases. I immediately noticed a marked change in my indoor air quality as a long time allergy sufferer and being sensitive to smoke, pollen and other contaminants. The change was much more significant compared to other air filters I have tried. I keep mine on the medium setting and run it 24 hours a day. It's surprisingly quiet and the subtle noise doesn't bother me at all when reading or watching tv, I actually prefer it as a source of white noise. I can breathe and sleep so much better now and it also heavily reduces odors from cooking. It's so good that I bought another one for a separate room. I also like the extra features like pet mode, the air quality sensor, and smart device features. The air sensor is surprisingly accurate and changes if I dust or clean nearby or cook something a little smokey. I haven't tried the app and smart features yet but they're nice to have as an option. The filter is very easy to set up and I haven't had to replace it yet. Truly cannot recommend it enough.

Update to my previous comments: It's been 2 years since I purchased the Vital 100S and it has worked very well for me. Until ... I just purchased a replacement filter for the unit this month. I considered buying the knockoff filters because they were significantly cheaper than the Levoit replacements. The only reason I went with the Levoit branded replacement filter was because it looked like it included the washable pre filter. I specifically wanted another pre filter as a backup in case something happened to the one that came with the unit. They are not flimsy, but neither are they invincible! What if I tear it, or lose it, or my dog eats it (which could absolutely happen!) ? The knockoff brands made it very clear in their product descriptions that the pre filter was NOT included with the replacement filter. However, the product description for the Levoit replacement filter uses phrases like "3 in 1", "washable pre filter", and the pictures of the product show the pre filter and DO NOT specify that it isn't included. I am very disappointed with this order and Levoit's shoddy advertising. And I want a spare pre filter, but it seems I can't find one for love nor money! I bought the Vital 100S. Like many reviewers of this product, I purchased it because the wildfire smoke had infiltrated my house. I never ever thought that I would be "that" person - someone who needed their own atmosphere! But the irritation in my nose and throat motivated me to buy this unit for my well-being. The reasons I chose this model are: the true HEPA, of course! Also the 3-stage filter. The CADR was good for the size of my rooms (I have open concept on the main floor, and a vaulted ceiling upstairs) the pre-filter is cleanable and I like the fact that I can also get specialized filters for Pet, Toxin and Smoke (in case things get really crazy!). The reviews are excellent and the price is right. I am seriously considering buying another of Levoit's units for the upstairs! I have not used any of the "connected" features so I cannot comment on those. The unit is easy to unpack and I was able to start using it immediately. It is very presentable; it's also light enough to be portable because I've been moving it from room to room (when the wind shifts sometimes the smoke comes into a different part of the house). It's super easy to use; I love the control panel, you just tap on it to turn it on, set the fan strength, and activate the timer. The first 2 fan settings are so quiet that I can barely hear that the unit is on. The third setting is a little louder but it IS moving a lot of air after all! I've only had it 2 weeks so haven't had to clean it or change the filter. One thing I didn't consider thoroughly was the placement of the unit. In order to work properly any air purifier needs to be kind of in the middle of things. Proper placement of an air purifier is between 3 and 5 feet off the ground, with about 3 feet of open space around it. Luckily, the 100S fits well with my decor and is light enough to put on a table or my bookshelves. I was worried that it might vibrate a lot and eventually shake itself off the table but it's staying put quite well. So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Very nice product , low noise level

Estuve comparando varios modelos de purificadores, y me decidí por este modelo. Me ha sorprendido la purificación del aire, se siente muy agradable el aire después de utilizarlo. El cuarto siempre lo mantengo cerrado por el polvo y demás, pero antes del purificador no se sentía igual despúes de utilizarlo. Algo funcional es que lo puedo monitorear por medio de la aplicación que se conecta a internet y, antes de llegar a mi hogar, se enciende unos 30 minutos antes. De esta manera el cuarto está muy agradable con oxígeno limpio. Contiene un filtro de carbón activado, filtro para impurezas y una malla para retener pelusa. Muy satisfecho con la compra.
