DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom, 90° Oscillating Fan, 26ft/s Wind, 28dB

Like most folks who read reviews before they make a purchase on Amazon, I read a ton of them on different tower fans. I had an old 42 in Lasko tower fan for about 8 years and the oscillating function gave out. It was still blowing good however I decided to finally buy a new one. I just purchased the Dreo 13in. desk fan and Im impressed with the velocity of air it blows with 4 speeds so I thought this Dreo tower fan must be just as good right? Nope! While the white tower fan looks very nice and appears well manufactured, it simply does not move or blow enough air. I bought it for my 15x12 ft office because all, but one review, stated the fan was powerful and moved a lot of air. I don't know how they came up with the advertised distance of 26 ft that it moves the air. All I can tell you is that from one side in my office to the other side 15 ft away, it barely moves enough air to feel it in the opposite corner on the highest 5 setting. My new Dreo desk fan blows harder and moves more air than this tower fan and I really love it. Course it is not as quiet as the tower fan. But if you are sitting no more than 10 -12 ft from the tower fan it should work fine for you in the 5 different settings Just don't expect it to move enough air to make a large room comfortable with its air flow. I hate to return it and with both my desk and tower fan going, my office stays fairly cool so I'll probably keep it. Plus the same remote operates both fans which is nice. I just think they should change the 26 ft advertised air flow distance to about 10 -12 ft which is what it really does. Hope this review helps. 7/23/24 - Update: I've had my tower fan for a couple of weeks now and realize I like it better than my original (3) star rating. Although I am still disappointed in the actual air flow distance not being 26ft in my opinion, my Big Boy Lab really likes the soft air on him a lot and he now has another favorite place to lye next to the fan. Plus, I downloaded the Dreo app on my cell phone and can now control it even if I'm not home while he is laying in his bed in my office. (the things we do for our Fur Babies!!) Despite my opinion about the air flow, it has turned out to be a good purchase after all.

This fan is PERFECT!! I ordered it since I don’t have any AC or much ventilation in my home and it gets unbearably hot in my room even with the window open. So since summer time is officially here I thought I was gonna need and upgraded fan for my room and this one definitely checks out all the needs and wants I was looking for. This fan is definitely more powerful then I thought even having it on 2 I can still feel the cool air from across my room which takes the cake compared to other fans that i’ve owned and not only is it strong but it also cools down my room within minutes making the temperature nice and refreshing after a hot day. it’s not too loud on its highest setting and it’s a pretty quiet on its lowest that sometimes I forget I have it on. Personally I like to keep it at 3 since it’s perfect for keeping the temperature cool and also keeping the noise level low. The fan size is perfect it reaches over my bed (which is 2 feet tall) so I can feel cool air while I sleep. The fan oscillation moves at a nice pace which I feel like also helps cool down the room a lot faster since it moves at a exceptionally moderate rate turning from one side of the room to the other. Assembling only took 2 minutes since it’s just the stand you need to put together and attaching it to the fan itself. The remote control is nice too one of my favorite parts about it is that you can turn off the beep sound the fan makes when you turn it on or off or when you change the wind power. The fan even has a little cubby for the remote on the back so you don’t lose it but I haven’t used it that much since I downloaded the app. The app is easy to use and convenient especially if you wake up in the middle of a hot night sweating like crazy. You can turn it on with your phone and set how powerful you want it along with a timer for how long you want the fan to be on for which I find perfect since I want to sleep comfortably but don’t want run up the electrical bill to much having the fan on all night lol. I bought this on sale so the price is definitely worth it in my opinion and given my situation. I hope my review helped answer any questions you had and erased any doubts you may have felt. This fan is awesome. I bought it to give my AC a little extra kick - the Texas summer heat is no joke! The air blows nice and cool - I find that at the 3 speed it is perfect. My cats are all enjoying laying in front of it. I literally just plugged it in and it is already cooling down the living room. This is a great brand, I also have a humidifier and it works just as well. Don't second guess - get this fan if you are looking for a reasonably priced option for extra cool air.

I love this fan! I bought this fan back in 2023 and it is still working great! It blows cold just like it says and the features are great! I have an AC, but I use the fan when I get too cold from it. My son needs a fan so I came back to look up one for him. I just found out that I can get the app and control it from my phone. Going to download it today.

I’ve been using the Dreo Smart Tower Fan for a bit, and I’m really impressed. It’s the perfect size for my bedroom and provides strong airflow with its 90° oscillation. Even on higher speeds, it’s surprisingly quiet, which is great for sleeping. I love the smart features and that I can control it with the remote, app, or Alexa. The 12-hour timer is also a nice touch. It cools the room quickly, and the different modes let me adjust it to my needs. Originally I purchased an "add ice air conditioner" and it was awful. The back produced so much heat it had the opposite effect. I sent it back. This fan said cool air and at this point I'll try anything. It's like a typhoon on high and it is absolutely cool! It has different modes, timers, and 5 levels of strength...in case you don't want a typhoon. It also has a nature mode where it slows down and comes back on higher like normal wind would be. It's voice command you can hook it up to your phone. Honestly it's pretty cool fan and it's super cool as far as temperature goes I mean the air that's coming out of it it is cool I don't know how it's happening but it is and I'm in love with it. Best fan ever. And I've gone through a lot of them trying to get this room cool. I can have it on 68 in the house but this room for some reason is so hot it feels like a heater on. So I've battled with every kind of fan that ice Portable air conditioners I went from the small one that worked for like my face only and then went to the giant one that used so much energy that the back part the backside of the air condition produced hot air so if you're in front of it it's fine but then it evens out and it makes the room warm anyway unless you're sitting like 3 feet in front of it max . I've run the way to cool down and I am so happy right now this is the first time I've been in this room for more than five minutes without breaking into a sweat since the summer again. And I'm in Florida so we're already melting here add to that room being so hot it's been really tough so this is a gift totally worth it . I feel like a spokesperson for right now I sound ridiculous but this is great.

With the heat this summer, the a/c often doesn’t feel like it’s even on. I bought this fan for the living room to help move air. It has been a game changer. It’s quiet and has helped keep the room cool. My puppies love it as well. It is a great buy for the price! Definitely recommend.

This Dreo tower fan does a fantastic job of cooling down a room quickly while staying whisper-quiet, even on higher settings. I also appreciate the built-in app and voice control features—it’s great to be able to adjust settings without getting up, especially when I’m in bed or on the couch. The Auto mode is a nice touch, adjusting the fan speed based on the room’s temperature, and the sleep mode dials everything down without cutting airflow completely. The design is sleek and modern, and it doesn’t take up much space. Cleaning it is also simple thanks to the removable rear grille. The only thing I wish it had is a bit more flexibility in vertical direction—it doesn’t tilt up or down, so placement matters. Overall, it’s an excellent fan that balances power, quiet performance, and smart features. Definitely one of the better tower fans I’ve owned.

I should have bought one of these years ago. I've only had rubbishy cheap desk fans before, but decided to get something better because of the heat this year. Really pleased with it so far it's been a lifesafer especially to help sleep while overnight temperatures are so high. Airflow seems great - I don't think we've needed to turn it up beyond 2 yet, and even the lowest setting is plenty in a smallish room. It's easily quiet enough to sleep while it's on low - just an even sort of white noise, no annoying clicks or clanks as it turns. Don't have any need for the smart features, so haven't bothered trying the app, but the remote and touch screen are both great. It's a bit larger than I had pictured somehow, but the measurements given are accurate so that's fair enough. A family member has a much more expensive dyson fan of a similar size which is somehow both louder and less powerful, so this one seems like great value to me!
