You still need the BT Smart Hub for the broadband link, but can turn off the Wifi in the Smart Hub and use this Wifi hub Instead, connected via Ethernet to the Smart Hub - that's what I do, with a couple of extenders (TP-Link AC-2600). Gives great results and solid signal. With the extenders, you can e.g. put one next to your TV and plug the TV ethernet into the extender and have it connect over WiFi to the main unit, all works well. **Q: would you recommend this for use a dedicated wifi connection for Meta Quest Pro? (router wired to the computer, then wifi to the headset)** A: Yeah ## Frequently Bought Together - TP-Link Archer AX72 Pro AX5400Mbps WiFi 6 Router, 2.5G Port, WiFi Router, USB 3.0, Internet Booster Routers, WiFi Booster, Ultra-Low Latency, EasyMesh,HomeShield, WPA3, Ideal for Gaming, Alexa - TP-Link RE705X WiFi 6 AX3000Mbps WiFi Extender Booster, External Antennas, Internet Booster, Gigabit Ethernet Port, WiFi Booster Range Extender, EasyMesh, Access Point, WiFi Repeater, Easy Setup - Ercielook CAT8 Ethernet Cable 2m - High Speed Shielded Flat Internet Cable, Weatherproof S/FTP UV Resistant for Router/Gaming/Modem - White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/513660305-tp-link-archer-ax72-pro-ax5400mbps-wi-fi-6-router](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/513660305-tp-link-archer-ax72-pro-ax5400mbps-wi-fi-6-router) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
