Liquitex Basics Acrylic, 118 ml Tube - Mars Black

Not sheer at all, verry thick. It is a mid on price but I dont mind when it is this good value. I have created many peices with it now and I am yet to be disappointed.

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of item. I have always enjoyed doing small lightweight activities preferring for example making a jewellery box to a blanket box. Lockdown has led to new activities including the making of latex moulds and decorating same. Latex paint is said to have weather resistant quality so I picked if for the variety of fairy doors and similar that I have been making with my bright three year old granddaughter. There is a very wide range of colour, these paints intended for real art. Red, Blue, etc, all the primary and many in between with made up names for a tone of whic ever colour. They mix fairly well and stay useable without getting lumpy for about 20 minutes in small quantities. Sold in Jars and tubes through Amazon they are really quite expensive as opposed to high street shop prices,!especially the works at less than 50% of Amazon cost. Even allowing for my prime delivery convenience the cost saving if you can get to the shop is huge Overall. EXPENSIVE but Bright colours, mix well and dry on a variety of surfaces quickly.

Only my 2nd (3rd is Burnt Umber) tube of this brand, but has shown itself to be quite adaptable to my particular needs. My 1st buy (Emerald Green, if I remember rightly) has been layered, dried, sanded and layered again over glue, foam and plastic. It will be sanded again when this current coat has dried... then re-painted. My project is a MegaCity1 Judge's uniform (think the 2012 release of the film, "Judge Dredd"). This hue will be carefully applied over the green (don't want my elbows/kneecaps to look like, "Go" lights..) , then combined with others as a 'weathering medium' & misted/scrubbed over the entire mode. Has done me proud, so far..... will be back for a, "Guess What Happened When...." should anything Horrible happen.

Bought this to mix bulk black paint for warhammer, bases, vehicles and terrain etc When I needed large black base layer or was churning out alot of batch painting. Once thinned with some medium is great. As good as citadel black at a fraction of the cost.

Very pleased with paint. I brought to touch up a salt dough print of my daughters hand and foot which I had done professionally but the paint had flaked off. This covered it perfectly and was perfect match. Havent had any more trouble with paint flaking.

Yeah as it says black out door paint all good this seems a good one. !
