Love this harness! I have a Husky, who is a runner. She can never run loose on her own because if she does she will be gone for hours with no hope in catching her. We purchased this harness in 2023. It was heavy duty genuine leather. Strong enough to keep her secured to her dog line , leash and seatbelt for 2 years. We rarely take it off her. The leather has started showing wear and some of the rivets have gone missing. So we purchased another. The new one is as good of quality as the last one. I have no doubt that it will hold up well with daily wear.

I replaced her old clip-on fabric harness with this leather one. she doesn't' seem as itchy with this one. Her old harness had to be snug or she'd slip out of it. This one can be loose and she seems to be more comfortable in it. She was a bit shy putting the new harness on. Now she comes over and seems to ask me to put it on her. The only downside is that the leather has a chemical smell that wears off after a couple of days. Doesn't seem to bother the pup and wife has not mentioned it. Not a real problem as the oder does get weaker each day.

This harness has the loop for the leash at the top of the harness instead of towards the back! My dog started choking when I took him for a walk because all the pulling pressure brings the chest plate right up to his throat and he starts choking! I actually customized it myself by removing the rivets on each side of the loop and flipped the back plate (top piece) around so I can have the loop towards the back and now it doesn't choke him anymore! Now I have a beautiful no-choke excellent quality leather harness!

Looked strong and great. Didn't fit, had to return it.

It's not the most user friendly harness, especially when you have a wiggly little dog. It's hard to put on and take off, takes a little more time than your standard clip and velcro harnesses. Confusing. Just fyi, I have a Pomeranian who is 8.6lbs and there's no way to make this harness fit him without the leather belt hanging out (from being affixed on the tightest opening). I think it'd be better for larger, sturdy dogs.

Beautiful harness, but couldn't get a proper fit on my long mixed dog it was rubbing on the back of front legs

I couldn't decide if I wanted to rate it a 4 or 5.The only thing I do t like is that for my puppy it could use 1 more hole for the neck adjustments. But other than that, the minimal size fits my 9 week old puppy just fine.The reason I went with a 5 star reveiw is because the product is of quality. Good Stitching. Sleek look. My pup looked like she enjoyed wearing it. The other reason I picked a 5 is because as my puppy grows out of it, I will definitely buy the medium size one.

Do not order this harness. The sizes are for maybe a poodle. I ordered medium to large and it wouldn't fit any pit bull or mastiff dog even if it was a 3 month old puppy. I'm very upset about this I wasted my time and money now I have to wait to get my money back. This is more of a scam it should not be advertised for larger dogs. This product sizing is a joke.
