Versatile Light Box - A Valuable Tool for Your Arsenal!
As a retired professional photographer, I was surprised at the evenness of the lighting in this Light Box. These LED strips work beautifully and allow me to avoid having to set up my lights! Easy to use with a variety of background colors, this Light Box is now a very handy tool in my arsenal. The tremendously inexpensive cost made it even better! Photography equipment is rare below fifty bucks! I paid $23.99 plus tax for this. The trick to product photography is getting the evenness of the background. There should not be a seam where the vertical back wall meets the floor. This light box works with fabric panels of various colors with Velcro tabs to achieve that look. They attach in the corners at the top of the back wall and drape diagonally down to the corners at the front of the floor. (For me, I use a little stand to place my product on to elevate it off of this panel.)The LED lights are all on the ceiling shaped into a box around a 4-inch diameter hole in the center (more on the hole below). Three walls and the ceiling are lined with a textured silver reflective material to scatter the light. The back wall and floor are black, assuming that you will use the colored fabric panels (as discussed). A power cord extends out of the box and plugs into a 24-watt power supply. There is a rheostat dial on the power supply to turn the lights on and off. The dial also allows you to adjust the brightness of the lights. For traveling, this light box folds down to appear more like a portfolio. Everything stuffs inside it. The power cord extending from the roof is about 4 inches long. It does not retract. You can either leave it dangling or route it into the four-inch covered hole and secure it with the Velcro hole cover. The power supply and cord will store inside the collapsed box. Finally, there is a strap handle for carrying. There are two openings to work with.First, the front obviously - with two options. When expanding the box, you can leave the front panel open (but no light will be reflected to the front of the product - all light comes from the ceiling.) or you can connect all four walls of the box and then open a 6x6 inch square opening in the center of the front wall for your camera or additional lighting/effects.Second, in the middle of the roof, there is a 4-inch diameter hole covered by a Velcro panel. The LED light strips border that hole shining down. I guess you could shoot downwards onto your product with all of the LED lighting blasting it from the camera's direction. Or you could add your own lighting to enhance the LED lights or add a colored light. The hole on the top may also be to add effects, such as "falling show" or mist from above or some sort of cucoloris effect (gobos, cookies) with patterned shadows. Perhaps once you have everything set up - your camera, the product, the lighting, etc. - you can make small adjustments of your product placement. The hole is wide enough for your hand to reach in. Bottom line, this ceiling/roof hole gives you options!Everything about this little light box is great, especially the price. I highly recommend it!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE: I still love it but, after shooting some, it's not professional grade - but it can be.In the picture with the guitar pedal, you can see the light falling off behind the product (a guitar pedal). It should be consistent. This is because the background panel arches too abruptly transitioning from the back wall to the floor. In the picture showing the interior, you can see that, at the top, the background panel bows forward slightly interfering with the LED lights. This leaves a gray void on the back wall of the panel. It should be consistent lighting. Sure, it will be much brighter at the top but that's not in the shot. It's at the bottom where the back wall should not be darker than the back floor. The Cause? The back panel is slightly too long and is actually just wedged between the seam between the back wall and ceiling and the seam between the front wall and floor (not visible). This forces the abrupt bowing at the midpoint (where the bottom of the back wall meets the back of the floor). Also, the panel was shipped folded. The front of the panel is smooth and reflective. That back of the panel is slightly rough and less reflective. I might try flipping the panel to overcome the bowing from shipping. This might even out the light. My "plan B" is to actually place one Velcro strip horizontally along the top of the back wall and another along the front of the floor and then place matching Velcro squares in the corners and middle of the back of the panel. Before that, I'll cut an inch off of the length of the panel. This will make the panel stretch making the bow more gradual. Objective: Consistent background light - no shadows. Also, in the interior picture, you can see that all of the LED lights are on the ceiling. You can also see the 4-inch access hole and silver ceiling and sides. In the picture showing the front square opening, you can see that the front access cover flips upward but has no intentional securing. It will not stay up on its own. I had to pin it down with the 4-inch hole access cover. Another modification with Velcro needed. In the picture showing the circular opening (looking down on the top), you can see the same issue with the cover to the 4-inch hole. There's no way to secure it when open. It wants to flop back in place. Here, I've pinned it open between the back of the light box and the ceiling to the bonus room. I won't always have that option so, yet another Velcro job is needed. With these adjustments, I think I can get the professional look of even lighting. It's still very affordable so I can't complain. For most uses, it's fine as is.

Excellent Product from a Seller w/ Proven Integrity + Fantastic Service!
I bought the RALENO 24" x 24" Photo Studio Light Box in 2023 after months of makeshift setups that gave poor results. From the first use, I loved this light box — not only for its size but for how flexible and easy it is to set up, and how simple it is to adjust for different product shots and lighting setups. It immediately improved my e-commerce product photos, which meant less time spent editing and faster time to market, ultimately boosting sales and profitability. In short, it has been a valuable asset for my product marketing.A few months ago the power adapter failed and the lights would no longer come on, which was very disappointing. I first checked the Amazon reviews to see if others had the same problem. Some people had experienced failures but didn’t offer any safe fixes for electrical issues; others just posted negative comments, which isn’t my approach. So I reached out directly to the seller on Amazon to ask if I could buy a replacement adapter or if they could recommend one. To my surprise, the brand seller offered to send a replacement free of charge. I was shocked, especially since I bought the box three years ago. I gave them my address and the adapter arrived today — on a Sunday. I plugged it in and it works! Fantastic. I’m extremely pleased with RALENO’s service and integrity. That kind of care is rare these days. I wholeheartedly recommend RALENO — 100%! Thank you so much for an excellent product and service!Side notes: Many people don’t realize you can contact Amazon sellers directly from the product page. Even if the product page states certain terms, don’t assume that’s the final word — it never hurts to ask. To find a product’s seller, look at the top of the product page beneath the Add to Cart/Buy Now button where the seller/shipper is listed and linked. Clicking that link takes you to the seller’s profile page, which includes an “Ask a question” button that guides you through prompts until you reach a text field to describe your issue. After you submit your request, you can track it by going to Accounts & Lists > Account, then selecting My Messages. Click the “Buyer/Seller Messages” tab to view any conversations you’ve started with sellers.

Does What It Says It Does!
As an online reseller, I needed a lightbox to take better pictures of my items (specifically CDs and Cassette tapes).Ironically, I used it minimally - not because it's not an awesome product, but because I did not have the time to really do use it correctly, LOL!I just recently began to use it and even though it's an okay product, my one concern is the diffusion of the lights inside the case (especially if shooting through the hole in the top). As you can see, the light reflects off the objects, which compromises the picture. I'll experiment with it a little bit, maybe see if I can rig up my own diffusion.Other than that, I really like this box. The assembly was easy and the box is very modifiable. The fine light control is amazing and the box comes with 4 different PVC backgrounds (Black, Grey, White, and Orange). All in all, this box is great for shooting smaller products or jewelry in a professional manner - and they sell this to you at a very reasonable price point!

It’s better than photos on your couch or floor!!!
So far so good with this photo tent. Sets up easy. Has a decent amount of lighting. Could have more on a wider ring or in the corners, but I’m not the engineer and have no clue what that would take to do, but it would seem to be the only minor issue with the tent, is the disbursement of light and not so much the amount. Photos come out nice and like anything in life, your success mostly depends on you and what your photographing. The tent supply’s ample qualities to make the job well done. I am not posting a photo of my used with this tent. You will have to take my word for it. You are not purchasing a professional studio. But you will get a quality made tent that is useful for objects up to just under 2 feet in length, width, height. It really helps give photos of products a more professional look.

Portable, easy to use, great for small pet photos
This is a perfect little photo studio! It folds up so nice that’s it’s extremely portable and the size is just right for small animals or products. It’s really simple to set up and take down and I like the variety of color the backgrounds come in. The built in lighting is really helpful too. Some other similar products were a lot more expensive so I love the price point of this studio, and it’s very high quality construction so functionality is not affected by the price at all.

Solid, works picture perfect, bargain priced
Picture perfect for smaller items like cameras, lenses, jewelry and other smalls. Sample pic is first shot (yeah, I didn't dust it off for the picture). Equipment doesn't cost you money, it makes you money. Bargain priced and solid construction.

Why does it have to be mobile?
Works great in regards to lighting and size but the whole thing about it being Velcro assembled and portable makes it jenky and weak and always collapsing. Tear open a flap and the whole wall comes down, accidentally lean on it when taking a pic from the top and it falls apart. Maybe throw in some plastic tabs the lock corners together, or make the Velcro actual flaps and straps instead of just along the thinnest edge. I have a similar model with similar issues but I bought this one because I needed a larger size and it is much worse structurally at this size (2X2) The lighting feature is decent but the filter sheet has same Velcro issues and literally will just randomly fall. The adjustable light barely dims before it just shuts off so it’s no good for any low light photography which is important to me. Once rigged up and somewhat stable, it does take some good photos and the size was perfect for what I needed. Maybe buy it if it’s on sale and get some parts at Home Depot to make it normal, otherwise I don’t recommend.

Very useful photo box for small product shots
I bought this RALENO photo box for taking better pictures of smaller products, and it works well for that purpose. It is easy to set up, folds away nicely, and the dimmable light is very practical. The size is good for smaller items, and the 5500K lighting gives clean, neutral-looking photos. Of course, it does not replace a professional studio, but for simple product photos, social media, Etsy or website images, it is a very helpful little setup.Good value and easy to use.
