Amazing and Thought Provoking
First, I love Debra Fileta’s podcast and after having heard her and watched her on numerous YouTube videos, I figured that maybe there was nothing new for me to hear, but nothing could be further from the truth.I was amazed at how many thoughtful moments I experienced from even chapter 1. Each chapter was so accessible to me mentally and written in a simple and easy to understand manner. I found myself thinking about the truths and habits explained every day. The chapters are not very long, which makes it easy to read in every day busy life. I am not one to mark up books, but I cannot wait to re-read this in paper form just so I can underline and highlight certain phrases and thoughts that just hit me so strongly.This book is timely and I highly recommend for anyone looking to add some fresh perspective to their life. Nothing I read seemed unattainable. Instead, I feel refreshed having read this and hopeful for my future and plans.Perhaps, this is because Debra is able to be realistic in what she expresses and is in touch with the reality of struggle in certain areas of mental health. Again—high praise for this book!!!Thank you, Debra!

I really loved this book!
This is such a great book to read! I really enjoyed it and know I will come back to it again and again. I learned so much on how our brains work and how we can control our thoughts, and understand our feelings and make the changes we need to make. I also love the biblical views and the scriptures included. I absolutely loved this book!

Wish I had this sooner!
A practical, no nonsense, Scripture filled guide to making real, long lasting change. I’ve learned so many of the lessons she presents the hard way through counseling, others, and “hard knocks”, and wish I had had this compiled for me a while ago. I love her writing style - descriptive enough that you get the point, but no fluff - very concise. Each chapter is long enough to be meaningful but short enough to be doable daily. And she provides a number of helpful examples that span a wide range of things people commonly want to change, so it’s easy to imagine how it might apply to you without being overly niche or specific. The exercises each day progress logically and build on one another.If you’re looking to make lasting change and are willing to put in the work, this is a great guide for it!

Debra this book was very helpful with the various suggestions at the end of each chapter. I would encourage anyone who wants to improve their walk with The Lord to read this book !

This book! Wow! Imagine a world if everyone read this book and worked through their thoughts and emotions and reactions and followed helpful advice in this book. I bought this book after watching the author be interviewed by Kirk Cameron, check out that on YouTube for a sneak peek of this book. Really helpful if you want to grow and evaluate the reason you respond or react the way we sometimes do.I encourage you if you want to truly change and grow and learn valuable insights, check out this book and change your world.
