wet n wild Rose Comforting Glossy Natural Lipstick Cherry Red Syrup

I absolutely love these. I bought the red just to have something cheap to use for 4th of July. But I was so impressed by this that I bought this color too. It has a really nice springy natural colored sheer... On my lips. My lips have a bit of extra warmth to them. Generally, neutrals look more orange on me and I have to go for something a little more cool, so this was a fun color. The texture is great! For the price, it's really a steal. I generally try to buy healthier products but I just use this once in awhile when I want a different look and it's great for layering! Sometimes I use it with a ripped for a lint mask, like tarte.

I have four of these, two of which I purchased in store (CVS and Walgreens) and two I purchased on Amazon. Quick product review: nice stick gloss- cushy and shiny on lips, not super long lasting but moisturizing while on. I find them good shades to throw in my purse and go, or wear over lip pencil or a stain. Definitely trying to dupe the similar gloss sticks by MAC and Makeup by Mario, and while I can't compare I do think these are nice for the price. I wanted to comment because the two I bought on Amazon had a notably different scent than the ones I bought in store, almost a rancid baby oil perfume scent? Hard to explain but not pleasant. The store ones had a slight, sweet smell to them. It makes me wonder if the ones bought on Amazon are expired stock! I would recommend picking them up in store if you want to try them!

I don't even know how I heard about this, probably from a social media video. However, I'm pretty happy with this purchase! The color is my perfect MLBB shade. It adds just enough color to perk up the face, but it's still natural enough. I love the sleek texture of it and the shine it leaves on the lips, however it definitely has that waxy lipstick smell and taste. Pretty moisturizing for a lipstick. My only real issue with it is that I wish it had a longer wear time before it started to rub off or fade. But for a few bucks, you can't really beat that!

I have four different colors of these. But they do not all stink, which seems to be the main complaint here. The one that smells like pungent crayons is the Pecan Glaze. The other colors do not have the same noxious scent. I ordered that smelly one first but I liked the color and emolliency and I was able to get over the scent. I kept trying the different colors one at a time. The Biscotti Mommy has no scent to me but is the creamiest and a little too soft. But the Laffy Taffy is a good everyday color. And the Cherry Syrup is a a good punch of color when you want more than the natural look. I must like these a lot if I keep buying them. They're easy to use, just swipe and go. I think I'm done buying. I've got the colors I want.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love this color for every day wear or when you just want a hint of color to go with summer suntanned skin. The smell however I am not a fan of. It smells waxy and old but the packaging was fine and still in tact so maybe I just got a bad one or maybe shipping in the seasonal heat is the culprit. I would try it again simply for this shade.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these lippies, especially Cherry Syrup!!! They definitely are a hybrid between lipgloss and lipstick and that's exactly what I love about them. They're buildable to an extent and the more warm they are, the more opaque they apply. They have a glass-like finish that's super unique and these actually make me want to wear makeup outside the house!!! <3

I love this Wet n wild lippie. I know people are going to have their own opinion about this. I heard about this from a makeup artist that I follow on Tik Tok. So I had to purchase it and I'm so glad I did. If you have ever used the ysl lippie that went viral you will know what this wet n wild lippie is like. I went through mine really fast. I used it everyday. It's soft and it's high shine and it's 5 bucks. You can't hardly get a great product for that price. The price is low but the quality is high. I apply it a couple times a day. It's like a lip balm. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the scent. It's not perfume or anything. It just smells like lipstick. But it doesn't bother me enough to keep me from repurchasing. Buy it. You will love it too.

Ok first off I'll start off by saying this lipstick 💄 really is very pretty on. It goes on smooth, color payoff is nice, the price is great, & the quality is good. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, the smell of it IS HORRIBLE!!! It's so intense & it does not go away at all. It smells like straight up crayons, but like 20x's the intensity of actual crayon. I am going to have to throw this product out, it's literally unbearable to wear & smell. Ugh, so gross. 👎🏻☹️
