Great quality product at a reasonable price!

Unfortunately my dogs did not like it. Picky eaters. Buy a smaller bag if feeding it for the first time.

It's for my puppy.

This is the only dry food my puppy will eat. He only likes beef flavored food and treats. Beef flavored puppy food is hard to find.

This is my second time to use the product from Blue Buffalo Wilderness. The first one (red meat) was worked for my puppy, but I had to order this one since the red meat one was out of stock. I thought this one should work, too since there were not many ingredient changes compared to the previous one, but my puppy really got sick after feeding this product. I had to bring him to the vet since he started vomiting and having diarrhea at the same time and took some medication. However, it didn't go any better, so anticipated a food problem, and changed to the other one which is the same brand, but little different ingredients like brown rice instead of grains, and it fixed the problem. I don't think the replacing ingredient from grains to brown rice fixed the problem, but this one specifically doesn't seem to be in a good state from the beginning since a lot of bad strong smells came out of the package when I opened it.

I tried to return the food prior to opening the bag but Amazon did not allow me to return it even though it was unopened. I had asked purchased a different brand and once my pup had finished it, I decided to try the Blue Buffalo. I did the show transition with the new food as I would with any change in dog food. My pup immediately got diarrhea. It took 2 days to get her poop back to being solid. I'm guessing the flavor is good because my pup ate it really fast (hence the 2 star). She just had a bad reaction to the food.

My dog does not prefer this dog food at all but will eat it reluctantly or if I mix it into other foods.
