Disappointed 😞
Received the machine that's not matching the description or videos. It has a projecting component which doesn't allow the pod to fit properly.

I am surprised how often I use it. It is not hard to make a coffee, but to properly screw it and pump, you need some strength. For me, it is not a problem, but my wife can "pump" one coffee and that is all. It is light, easy to clean, and the coffee is very good. Generally, the result is the same as from a capsule coffee maker. If you like coffee from capsules, you will like coffee from the Minipresso. So it is great, but you need to be aware of some limitations: - The Minipresso is great, but you obviously need to have capsules. Not a problem when traveling with a suitcase or to a city where Nespresso capsules are available, but I went with my wife on a more "backpack" trip in Asia for 4 weeks, and carrying ~50 capsules in a backpack was a problem, as these can be kind of squishable. - You need to check which capsules will work. Of course, Nespresso "shape," but I am talking about quality of build here. E.g., Dallmayr capsules worked really well! But Illy (which were twice as expensive) tended to tear during the process, which makes it just coffee-flavored water with grains of coffee in it. - You can use room temperature water, but again, it will make just coffee-flavored water. Not very tasty and having only around 20% of intended caffeine content. In other words, you need boiling water. If your hotel has a kettle, then not a problem, but if you are not sure if it will have it, then you either need to carry a "tourist water heater" or portable kettle. Goof thing is that after filling it with boiling water and screwing it, I never felt anxiety that it might "leak" and burn me. The machine is stable and sturdy. Still: these are downsides of the process, not the machine itself. If you are okay to accept/overcome them, then you will be very satisfied with the purchase!
