What are the tea bags made from? Do they contain plastic and are they compostable?

Mine were made of the usual tea bag paper which should compost without difficulty. One point to raise is that the individual tea bags in this large size are slightly smaller than those found in the supermarket pack..

What is the best before date?

I bought them in January 21 and the best before date is July 22
