Good idea for spicing up the classic board game. Unfortunately a bit of a half baked design.
Play the classic snakes and ladders game in 3D with four coloured balls, plastic snakes you slide down and plastic ladder mechanisms that you have to use your skill to coax the ball up. The game takes about 20 minutes usually but, like the classic, could potentially go on for ages.If the ball falls off then you go back to the beginning, which is the substitute for the really long snake that you normally have near the end to take you back to the first row. However, for two of the snakes there is a little flipper that you have to put the ball in and then use you skill to launch the ball up in the air and land it on a snake. This is very difficult and my six year old is getting fed up with trying to do this. You end up on your hands and knees hunting for the ball! There is also a wheel that is a cross between a snake and a ladder in that you can spin it and see whether it takes you further on, or back a few spaces instead. However, you cannot spin it without the ball falling off, so back to the beginning again, and back down on your hands and knees. In fact to avoid the ball falling off you have to spin it so slowly that you are basically turning it and have too much control over where you stop it.Good ideas, but half baked design, which is a shame. My six year old therefore is rapidly going off the game and so I cannot recommend it.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
This was a Christmas present given to my 5 year old daughter. Probably the worse piece of junk I've come across. Plastic slides and ladders obscure the board, so you can't see where you are going, or where your player is supposed to go. The spinning wheel is pointless, and not part of the game. The 'flip thingy' doesn't work properly, so the ball doesn't go where it's meant to. All in all a complete waist of money, horrible cheap nasty plastic piece of junk. Get yourself a good old traditional Snakes and Ladders, where you can see where your going, and fold the board flat for storage when you've finished playing. This has all these nasty little plastic parts that'll end up in your Hoover,THIS THING IS SIMPLY HORRIBLE, QUITE FRANKLY I HATE IT!!

Design flaws
My nephew (3yo) loves it despite the fact that it is a bit rubbish. No point to the wheel at all. The flippers on the snakes are also stupid. However, the game is surprisingly robust
