I prefer the stronger N52 ratings for all my NIBS; which I have over 6000 of. About five thousand of them are little, cylindrical NIBs ¼” long, ¼” in dia., with an axial, 1/8” ID hole through the middle. Combining these with my 800 ½” dia. and my 500 5/8” dia. steel ball bearings… allows me to construct interesting, what I have so-named… ‘magnet sculptures’. The most complex one I’ve made weighed over 42 lbs. And contained several thousand of the little NIBs, along with near all the steel ball bearings on hand. It was QUITE the geometric concoction!! I bought the first one of these nearly three years ago. I was so pleased with it, that I bought the second one a month later. Thus far… there literally is NO apparent wear. On any of these three Faraday Wallets/pouches. So I bought the third one just to cover the nearly-needing-replacement state of the chair’s left arm… that had not had the protection of the ballistic nylon these last three years. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra; a pretty large cell phone, as such go. Cased in my case bottom, its 7” x almost 4”. A bit larger when in the full case, top and bottom, snap-closed together. The top of the case is the part attached to the wheelchair by the larger NIBs; the bottom of the case is the part attached to the back of the S22. Enabling me to simply snap the phone into place, as I join the two case halves together, there, under my chair’s arm. Even when the phone is fully armored – and thus already substantially thicker, two medium/large NIBs still reside on the case’s back – plus a rotating spring clamp, for attaching to a belt; making it about a half inch thicker, yet. Nonetheless, the phone, now noticeably larger, still quite easily slides in & out the wallet. These Faraday wallet/pouches are incredibly tough, will last many years; and are quite effective at their job of isolating the phone and it’s EMR. I could hardly rate these bags any higher. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its construction reminds me of a Tumi style ballistic nylon briefcase *by D***N on September 7, 2019* I ordered my first Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones along with another brand that sells multilayer mylar bags in a collection of various sizes which allows them to be placed one inside the other (nested) to build up the protection they offer. Before ordering I noticed that on the Mission Darkness website that they offer an App that one can load onto their phone to actually test the bags efficiency in blocking out the Cellular and Wi-Fi signals; as a means to test the bags ability of blocking energy waveforms that might be part of an ESD or EMP event. Both items arrived on the same day and I proceeded to the Mission Darkness website to download the App for my phone. The Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones is a nice size and I also tested it to see how additional devices might fit; like an external backup hard drive, memory sticks, cryptocurrency hardware wallets, and a handheld ham radio. For me, the items I tested did fit for my purpose which is I want a separate bag for each, backup hard drive in one, ham radio in another, etc. Mission Darkness does offer larger bags but this size works for me. Onto testing, first up the Mission Darkness bag I ordered. After downloading the App, I followed the instructions that has you start the App and let in run for 30-60 seconds first, this allows the App to build up a baseline for testing. Next I placed my phone into the Mission Darkness bag and rolled down the top of the bag and closed it with the Velcro attached to the bag. Following the instructions I left the phone in the bag for a good minute or so and then when time was up I removed the phone from the Mission Darkness bag and observed the results. Just as described by the Mission Darkness website the App showed that Mission Darkness bag completely blocked the Cellular and Wi-Fi signals. I repeated the test a second time to see what would happen if I did not roll down the top of the bag and close it completely; the results showed some blockage of signal but not completely, only about 20-40% was still able to get through to the phone. Up next the other brand of multilayer mylar bags. Using the same instructions and testing procedures for the Mission Darkness App, I started with one mylar bag, started the App as before, placed my phone inside the bag and closed the bag using the built-in Ziplock style closure. Again after waiting a good minute; the App showed no signal blockage. I restarted the test again this time I placed the first bag into a second multilayer mylar bag; the App again showed no signal blockage. Onto the third test, I placed the first two bag into a third bag and started the test; again the App showed no signal blockage. It was not until I tested it the fourth time using four nested mylar bags did the App showed any signal blockage; this time the Wi-Fi signal was completely blocked but only about 60% of the Cellular was blocked. Things I like about the Mission Darkness bag: Its construction reminds me of a Tumi style ballistic nylon briefcase. Ease of use and access for the items one might access frequently or periodically.
