25 kg Dawn Chorus Mealworm Suet Pellets For Wild Birds (12.5 kg pack x 2)

The native UK garden birds love these suet mealworm pellets and can’t get enough of them. These are the same brand as they sell on the high street at a UK chain store, but at a fraction of the price due to the bulk buy. I had no dust in the two boxes I received and only a few lumps, so no wastage. My only gripe is the fact that the pellets come in the boxes without any plastic liners, which means pellets can escape through the folds in the box ends, which is a bit annoying. I decanted them all into bags to stop this being an issue. Other than the boxes not being lined these pellets are 100% recommended.

My birds (large variety) are obsessed with this. It was clearly a hit! Our black birds are little snobs and don’t like eating the berry ones in other mixes we’ve purchased in the past and will only eat mealworm ones. They must have rated this 10/10 with how they eat it! Their babies must love it as well because they’ll come and shove as many as they can into their little beaks. Our smaller birds (variety of tits, Robin, wren & dunnock) seem to appreciate that they aren’t as long as other brands - makes it easier for them to eat. Our starlings are menaces and absolutely love this. Our wood pigeons who normally don’t show interest in pellets seem to really enjoy these. The value for money certainly proved itself within the first hour! Especially since the birds even eat the leftover dust!!

Birds like them. Good price. But unfortunately they break into powder a bit more readily than pellets I've used before.

The birds simply can’t get enough of this stuff. We have around 18 different species of birds visit the garden, everything from wagtails, blackbirds to ducks and moorhens. They all love it. Good quality pellets with minimal dust, well packaged and secure against spillage. We buy this regularly all year round and have no complaints.

The birds always loved it when I put these out for them. You could literally put them out in any dish and the birds would lap them up. Just a shame they kept leaving us presents on the fence meaning hubby had to paint it every year. Better value than what you can get in the local shops.

These are quality suet pellets

Product was fine , delivery was appalling, parcel was dumped by the road at the end of the lane . I was unable to lift it and had to get someone to pick it up in their car and deliver it to me . Not happy. Won’t order again .

Absolutely delighted with this purchase - or rather the garden birds are! Swift delivery, well boxed but I am glad I read from other reviews to be careful about the plastic liner holding the suet - it was very flimsy so I scooped out the suet into my containers straight from the box. Do not try and lift the plastic bag out of the box, it will definitely split. However, that is a small matter when I worked out how much I would be saving (rather than going into my local pet shop or garden centre). I will definitely be buying this item again - which judging by the response of the birds won't be too long!! Following a further order I realised I forgot to mention above that the order is in two boxes taped together so if you score through the tape in the middle of the parcel you will release the two boxes to make them easier to deal with - just don't try lifting the bags out, as I said above, use a scoop to empty the bags as they are very flimsy. The birds continue to enjoy this suet treat - the youngsters soon cotton onto where the gourmet food is in the garden!
