Can someone confirm if the internal base (where the butter actually sits) is flat, or is it bumpy like the external base.

Hi it’s flat with a rim around the edge. Not all butter blocks fit it though like the ones from aldi and Lidl are too wide so I have to cut and have them side by side.

What are the approximate dimensions of this butter dish? Would it fit a 500g butter or just a 250g?
