I would say this is a very good quality olive oil. I’ve been just taking a tablespoon a day by mouth,but had to stop because it was causing some intestinal discomfort, but in salad or on some good bread orsomething like that I think this would be really great. It is expensive though.

A close friend has been ingesting 2tbsp of this XVOO daily for a year, and surprised his doctor with lower blood pressure and cholesterol, along with less joint pain and better mobility. So surprised that the doctor now does likewise. It just happens to be fruity, highly flavorful and delicious. I just began to try it so can’t extol personal health benefits yet, but I use it on salads, and last night on black and brown rice instead of butter. Very tasty. 2 tbsp/day as he recommended. It’s pricey but worth every dollar, especially if it works for me as well as it did for him.

I've recently discovered what high quality extra virgin olive oil is, and this is it. It has that bite that gets you in the back of the throat and is not mild and bland like the other olive oils I've purchased in the past, thinking they were the real deal. They were not. I take one full tablespoon each evening before bedtime in the hopes it will help me as needed, especially with heart health. There is nothing negative I can find to say about this quality extra virgin olive oil. It comes in a darkened glass bottle which is very well packaged.

Just arrived. Very well packed with a large dark bottle that will last a few months. The oil has very little or no flavour, just a slight bitter stingyness. There is no perceptible scent. Wonderful for dry skin! I don't know how the bitterness will affect cooking, but the experiment should be interesting! I did want flavor for salads, so this is not what I expected, but it will do for the time being. This is my first experiment with olive oil I did not buy in the grocery store, so I am not knowledgeable or experienced with other olive oils..
