I used it ONCE - and I was worried how I could condition my hair with soap - but it worked, and it worked well. My hair is soft and clean and the lather for the shampoo was excellent. It left my hair so soft, and I didn't need to use a leave-in conditioner (I always use a leave in conditioner). I'm loving this product and I will shout from the rooftops how good it is. I was given one of the soap bars, and thought this is cool, loving how my skin feels afterward - Clean and moisturized. Yes, it's a little spendy and I don't know how long it will last next to regular shampoo, but worth it.

Giving this 5 stars but that doesn't mean it's perfect or amazing! It just means I like it and that being said here what I like about it. They both have a nice scent that isn't heavy or overly strong. The scent doesn't stick around afterwards, doesn't clash with anything you might use , ie perfumes, cologne, hair products.. The shampoo bar has a nice lather. It also cleans the hair very nicely. It can dry my hair out a bit if I shampoo to frequently. I try to only shampoo 2-3 times weekly The conditioner is interesting. It seeps oil while sitting and waiting to be used on the next wash day . In fact it oozes oil see last photo of oil seepage in conditioner bar. None of the other condition bars from Kitch that I've purchased have ever done this so I'm not sure if it's just this bar or if this particular conditioner bar just does that due to the type of oil in it. It is rather oily when I use it, and I can't let it sit no more than a 1-2 minutes at most in my hair after shampooing before rinsing it out. The conditioner when used in this traditional way of applying after shampooing does take extra long to rinse it out. And if I should not get it rinsed well my curls go flat and my hair gets stingy and grundgy looking. What I sometimes do as an alternate way of washing, I'll wet my head and rub the conditioner on first, massage it into my hair and scalp well and let it sit on for 4 or 5 minutes then I use the shampoo bar on top of the conditioner then rinse it all out at once. This works like a all-in-one and it doesn't dry my hair out or leave it grundgy looking. It drenched my curls and helps it stay looking fuller longer. I've now been using this particular Kitch bar shampoo and conditioner for a couple months (they last a long time). As far as helping with hair loss or hair growth, well I am seeing less fall out. I have been getting new hair growth on a good sized balding patch on the side of my head near my temples, but I have also been doing other home remedies as well as managing my stress and eating a better diet. It could be a combination of all the things and I'll take it as a win. I do recommend this shampoo and conditioner combo. 🍀

It will take some getting used to, but I will never go back to bottled shampoos and conditioners again I’ve used this several times over the last month. The shampoo bar has luxurious foamy bubbles that cleans my hair and rinses out easily. The conditioner is soft to the touch and creates a nice foamy base to let it sit for a bit. There’s a gentle scent, nothing overpowering. I leave it on for the duration of my shower. I’m not shedding as much hair. Rice Water is supposed to impart strength and resiliency. What I do know is, my hair feels so much better. I can go an additional day or two between shampooing. I do have these bars up and out of the way of our shower, because I imagine these beauty bars would literally melt otherwise.

None of them work as well as this does! All you have to do is get it wet, rub between your hands to get it started then rub on your hair and you get a great lather that goes a long way. I put it on a wooden soap dish to help them dry between uses. My hair is really starting to shine with lovely gray hair and I am an ardant fan! The only reason for a 4 star is the size of the bars, they are very small and that makes this very expensive. I wish they would make this work in a bottle! My hair is soft. There is no scalp irritation. I don't have any frizz.

Bought this shampoo and conditioner duo specifically to take on vacation as a less messy alternative to regular shampoo and conditioner. That was a huge success as I also purchased the kitsch box to store them in. That box has kept the bars from being exposed to or sitting in water and they have lasted for 7 weeks so far. My hair is soft and more manageable (it's dry, wavy with some frizz). My hair doesn't feel weighted down or like it has product buildup in it. Love the smell! I am not a blonde but do have ashy blonde highlights and my color has stayed neutral without the brassy effect that usually begins a few weeks after being colored. Will definitely be purchasing again.

I have slowly been trying to replace anything in plastic that I am able. Shampoo and conditioner is my current focus. I got this sampler to try some out and see how it functioned and how my hair felt after. I read a really good review of several different "bar" hair products and Kitsch was highly rated along with two others. She's on all the socials too. Ok - back to the point - The Rice Water set is a FOUR STAR product and something I will likely buy in full size. The shampoo lathers pretty good with patience and the conditioner is superb! It melts easily though so you gotta be sure you have a way to keep it away from the moisture and not in above 80 degree weather. Or put it in your soap holder or something if you are travelling. My hair is soft and clean after using any of the 4 options but the rice water are my favorite. The other set has a nice smell but the shampoo is very difficult to get going and the lather is not there. I know that clean shampoo doesn't foam as much. Very used to that but this is one just isn't for me. The conditioner is the same. It's super slippy on the tub floor believe me! I tried it on my legs for shaving and I was not safe in there afterwards! hahaha But, alas, it's not that softening for my hair and takes forever to soften up as well. There was a tip on the blogger site that mentioned adding harder conditioning bars to a pot of boiling water to get it going. No thanks. Way too much work when there are other products that are nice and easy.

The shampoo works great. I have very fine but thick hair and live in a very humid area, so my hair tends to pack down if too much conditioning type products. Also have scent sensitivities, and even though the scent was strong upon opening the package, after a day or two, the scents from the bars are gone, and no effects on my scalp. My hair is soft, shiny and not stuck to my head! I hardly use the conditioner bar, so for that have a lifetime supply.

Let me start by saying I do not write reviews. I am always busy, don’t have the time and really nothing has made me go “wow I need to tell people about this”. Except this. I have struggle my entire life (almost 30 years) with dry coarse hair. I use hair masks, leave in conditioners, serums, all of it. I saw this and thought “what the heck”. IT HAS CHANGED MY HAIR. My hair is so soft, silky, shiny and healthy! My hair stylist asked me what I’ve been doing to get my hair so hydrated and soft (I’ve been going to her for 9 years). I told her this! This has been the cure my hair needed. I will NEVER use another shampoo or conditioner again. If you are on the fence, let me shove you off. BUY IT.

Best purple shampoo and conditioner I have ever used and I have tried many of them (I.e- Moroccan Oil, Milkshake, Joyce, etc.) and this is my fav!! It does not try your hair out like most purple shampoos and it smells great!! You won’t be disappointed. It takes the brassiness out of your hair and makes your grey and/or white vibrant. As a side note about Kitsch products, they are amazing!! I have tried them very single shampoo and conditioner they have. No bottles, easy to travel with, and they all smell great and make your hair feel amazing!

These are too small pieces. It's difficult to hold them even while bathing! The price is too overhyped for the product. I've already tried two of your soaps, with little or no positive result.

I didnt think it would work with my hair, but I was wrong. Silking soft, and didnt need to put my 5 in 1 afterwards to comb through my hair. Definately recommend!

I love the product, especially the conditioner, but it doesn't last as long as it is stated. I didn't think I would need to repurchase this soon. It lathers well, and the clump size is drastically reduced, even though I wash my hair twice at a time. It probably won't last 100 washes.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. She's had a problem with thin hair since the birth of her children. The improvement is noticeable. The smell is gorgeous too
