I had hip replacement surgery and 30+ staples to keep covered and safe. This bandage worked beautifully. I did not use it in the shower or test waterproof capabilities because I was able to clean my wound. This bandage stayed in place through multiple trips to the bathroom. The pad is very soft and absorbent. The adhesive kept the bandage on place and did not irritate my skin when I was ready to remove it. My only issue was when I was placing it on, the adhesive edge stuck to itself, but it easily came unstuck and smoothed out. So much easier than gauze and tape. These bandages are pricey, but worth the cost.

It doesn’t work on everything.

Good for sensitive skin, no latex here just silicone. VERY absorptive, it says you can wear it up to a week on the box, but in my case still have to change about every other day. The adhesive is only on the edges, not on the absorptive bandage itself so it will not stick to the wound. Adhesive is pretty good (but I've seen better). Most people will not get any skin irritation from it, and it sticks pretty well unless you put it someplace dirty, hairy, or oily. (Hehe... "Dirty Hairy" you gotta ask yourself, do I feel oily. Well do ya, punk?)

Beware the absorbent pad in the middle is coated with adhesive. I got these to place over steristrips after total knee replacement and having my staples removed. The adhesive made them useless to me because I didn't want the bandage to rip off the steristrips, fearing damage to my wound recovery as a result. I was very disappointed because I wanted to use the bandages to protect the steristrips for showering and to help keep the area clean. I might still use them when the steristrips come off but I might not even need them then. A real disappointment

This product did an excellent job of capturing post-surgical scar fluids and holding them in until time to change the bandage. It holds a lot of liquid in case your particular surgical scar weeps some liquid or blood after the operation. This keeps liquids from soiling clothes or bed lines. So it is good at doing what it is supposed to do.

It was delivered as described. Good alternative to the major brands.

I was sent the "pack of 5 in a box" instead of a "pack of 10 in a box" which I ordered. I feel cheated.
