Illuminated Globe of the World with Wooden Stand, 8'' World Globe for Kids & Adults' Learning Built-in LED Night Light, Home Office Classroom Decor Geography Gifts(Elegant Turquoise)

This was the perfect edition and added the right pop for a person like me. I can’t wait to see it when nightfall comes around.

Perfect with the light we can study the globe We will be traveling on cruises soon

I had to return the first one because there was a gap where the two halves of the globe join at the equator line. Light shined through the opening. It is pretty small and all plastic, but serves the purpose I wanted, which is sitting on the shelf of a bookcase. The light is pretty bright, so I purchased a USB dimmer, and can now turn down the light level. Other than the quality control issue, it is an okay item.

My daughter loves this gone when lit up and it’s really fun talking to her about being on planet earth and showing her my country of origin and where we now currently live. Its size makes for a great nightstand display and night light even. It’s built good and the colors on it are easy on the eyes. Great value for the price and and its accuracy of locations on the map look spot on

i can remember when I was a kid, I was always fascinated by the Globe sitting on the bookcase in the Geography classroom. I loved looking at each continent, all the countries, and how they related to each other on a global scale. Ever since those days, decades ago, I've longed to have a globe of my own. I know I could never afford a 'scientific' globe like we had in school. Those cost hundreds of dollars, IF you can still find them! I found this 8" globe from JOHWOL quite by mistake. I don't remember what I was shopping for, when I spotted this. (Amazon is good for leading you to other ideas for purchases.) But, after I read a little about it and saw the price, I couldn't resist it. I will admit, I was a little skeptical about it being only 8" in diameter. The globes I saw, back in the day, seemed huge to me. But I was very pleasantly surprised as to how good this one looks and how detailed it is for it's size. 8" is a lot larger than you think, when it comes to something like this. Not only is it detailed enough to see many of the countries on each continent, most of the borders are up to date with the current political boundaries. All of the wording is easy to read. The globe itself is very well made. The stand is very sturdy. All of the colors are bright and clear. My wife and I are planning many intercontinental voyages. It's nice to look at this globe, as we plan, to get a visual on the distances. In one of the pics, I point out where we live. How fun is that? We're very happy with this new addition to our display case and object of learning.

Loved it

Easy to use very helpful Smart idea

Great details, lights up bright but can still see the globe without hurting my eyes. Perfect size for a side table or desk.

Il vient de s’éteindre juste un jour après la date de retour. Et ne s’allume plus.

Perfect for 6 year olds bedroom, not too bright and hopefully learning countries at the same, he loves it!
