Smooth and tasty
I'm quite fussy about coffee and have taken time to try many brands and I have to say this is smooth and tasty, no bitterness or harsh aftertaste. If you're prone to heartburn after strong coffee like I am then this is worth a try. 2 level scoops per person or 5 scoops for a 4 cup cafetiere.

it took some getting used to
this is very strong, im a costa/nero girl and this is more like double espresso in a single shot...for me.Ive managed to figure out my proportions of coffee to milk though...and adding some syrups...I wont buy again unfortunately,I just like it less strong.it does make a nice crema, and amells lovely, so eapeesso drinkers will likely really enjoy this one

Odd smell, more like instant coffee, not the Italian smell and taste I was expecting
Just can't abide the strange smell, perhaps old beans I'm not sure, tastes like a cheap instant not the Arabica/Robusta taste I expected, not eligible for a return so I recommend that you buy just one and see if you like it before buying a 3-pack like I did

Toasted to death
Pretty terrible, the coffee has been toasted to death. As soon as you open the packet you are assaulted by a smell of burnt coffee. Being Italian I trusted the label: bad decision. I am very disappointed
