Update: These have lasted over 2 months now with daily usage, they're definitely a good quality product!!👍👍 When I first recieved the product, it looked very high quality and came with everything I needed to set this up. The instructions were easy to follow and I had managed to fully set up the lights around my bed in approx. 20mins. However after one day, I ran into an issue with the infrared control box where the blue light would start to flicker and eventually stopped working completely. This left me with red/green colours only which was highly annoying. I then decided to contact the Govee customer support team and told them my problem. They responded promptly and helped me through the entire process to try and see if the problem could be fixed unfortunately to no avail. After all else failed, they kindly decided to send me a new 10m led light strip for free in replace of the dodgy one I first recieved. This new kit works amazing and I have had it for over 1 week now with no issues in sight. The lights have a strong adhesive and are stuck down very well and all of the colours are bright. Overall a great company with a great product, for a great price 👍👍 :) Helen

Hi, So first of all lights are nice and bright and worked very well for 4 days for me and suddenly I noticed one colour is not working any more(Red) . I did do all possible test and found out there is something wrong with control box as it not respondiy well when I am using power off button from remote and also red colour. Blue and Green works well but it's useless if you don't get one colour. I did speak with customer support and as they said one year guarantee, they did fix the issue very quickly. Really appreciate there response and turnaround with fixing issues. Thank you. I did sent mail to company with my concern and hoping for there assistant.

The selection of colours and varying brightnesses are brilliant, and the adhesive works very well. However, the remote can be a bit tricky, and I found that blocks of lights on my strips stopped working after a few months. One of the strips shows all colours, except some lights which do not work, and tends to flicker. For the other strip, the lights cannot turn red, again some lights do not work, and the strip will regularly turn different colours. I bought these last September and by February these problems had occurred. However, these lights still add brilliant colour to my room, and I have grown quite fond of the green-red combination that occurs when I try to turn both strips to red. Overall, I would still strongly recommend these lights, as they really lighten up and add atmosphere to a room, but I really wish they would have worked for longer. EDIT: After getting in contact with Minger, they kindly sent me replacements immediately. They arrived very quickly and I am immensely pleased with the quality of customer service. I would highly recommend this product.

Right, I’ve changed my review, I initially gave it 3 stars then I gave it 4 but now it’s full stars! This is because of one reason that’s VERY annoying at the beginning which is the strips cannot attach on to each other, but now in recent months they’ve added connectors, you still have to do a bit of DIY but they listen to their customers and added them in when I bought this product it did not come with connectors, besides from that small fact it’s VERY bright and lovely. The adhesive is “good” they do come with screws and stuff to put on the wall but to put it bluntly I do not want screw holes in my ceiling so I don’t use them. Tape does the trick but I guess it’s not very aesthetically pleasing to look at but it works! I’ve had no issue with the remote and no issue with the lights being faulty so that’s a plus! I spoke to the team and they reached out and sent more lights for free because I had a bit of a situation beforehand, which is why I have boosted the review up to 4 stars. The customer service is brilliant. I’m hoping they last, I’ve seen reviews saying they dont last past 3 months! Well I’ll just have to see for myself! I’ll link some pictures of how the tape looks with them off and all that, they aren’t noticable with them on just when they’re off and I’ll link a video of my whole room too! Edit: it’s been OVER a Year that I’ve had these and they are brill still. A couple of the individual lights are a bit faulty like they change colour or turn off but it’s literally just 3 or 4 small bulb thingies inside the strip. But other than that I’ve had no issues still works the same, still stuck on to the wall all the same. Not peeling or coming off.

Let me start of by saying the (free) delivery for this was only 2 days so I’m really pleased by that.it says it works best on smooth surfaces but it stuck perfectly to my uneven wallpaper without the need of the support hook things provided in the box. Everything worked the first time I tried it. Just Remember to take the plastic out of the remote before you use it because I sat there for a solid 10 mins getting mad at a piece of plastic because I didn’t read the part that said to take it out lol.ps once I took it out it worked perfectly. My only negative would be that it is pricey , £27 for 2/3 of my room.Overall,very good product and I might repurchase for other areas in the house :)

Framed my daughter's bedroom wall with these and they're great. I'm not the most handy of people but they were pretty straightforward to put up. The most important thing for me was to plan where you're going to start and finish. I used right angled connectors in the two upper corners and you need to ensure the flow of the strip and connectors match up for polarity so I'd lay it all out before fitting it to be certain. Remote is good and I fitted the receiver in open sight as it wouldn't work as well hidden from view. Adhesive backing seems fine, and the retaining clips are good support the corners as a precaution.
