We have been pleased with this product overall! We are new to gardening this year and it has been going well. These eliminate a lot of time that would be spent weeding. When we first began using them, I was concerned that the water did not go through them very well; however, as time has gone on they seem to have been broken in a bit and the water seems to settle through the fabric just fine now. I will say we have quite a bit of fraying already. After watching many tutorials, we used a blow torch to create the wholes for the seeds and plants. I have had to use scissors in a few places and those spots are very frayed. However the worst frayed parts are just the edges of the fabric in general. Overall, we enjoyed the purchase and would buy again. I don’t think this would keep very well from year to year unless you adhere to the exact same layout of the garden considering how many holes have been cut into it. Consider purchasing 6” lawn staples for this. That’s what we used to keep it down.

Bought this product twice to create a base layer for a rock garden. This has been in place now for many months and it works perfectly. The delivered price from Amazon is better than Home Depot's options.

This landscape plastic material works fairly well, looks sturdy, it was easy to use and it is light weight. But I did notice weeds still made their way through in a few areas. It’s sturdy and seems durable, but for best results, I’d recommend doubling it up. Mulch on top and not even rocks stopped weeds from growing. Overall, it’s a good option for the price and does help reduce most weed growth but it can get expensive if you want to double up.
