Solid quality BBQ smoker.
Some of the reviews don't do justice to this very well engineered BBQ smoker, yes there are a few issues, but I will give you a few tips if you decide to get one of these, I am an aircraft engineer by trade. First the assembly, locate the screws but do not tighten till it's together it will give you the flexibility to locate everything without having to drill or open up any holes, also there are no M6 or M5 washers and for belts and braces I also used spring washers. You will not get an air tight seal with metal on metal, so i wet assembled the smoker box with a high temperature sealant, also there were a couple of holes (see pic), I wet assembled the chimney too.Around the lid and doors i used a BBQ gasket strip (again see pics). This BBQ is solid and weighty, it has a real feel of quality about it. I haven't used it yet but will post the results when the weather gets better.

Good value
A bit of a pain to put together. The instructions looked like they had been photocopied 1000 times and even then were so light on detail that a clear image wouldn’t have helped. That said, anyone reasonably practical should put it together in less than an hour. I didn’t have any misaligned holes like others have mentioned, though some parts were a little bashed (packaging was not damaged so they must have been bashed prior to packing). Once assembled it is pretty sturdy but I don’t think it would fare too well if abused. The features are impressive for the price and it has enough space to let me cook a variety of food types concurrently to feed a party of 10 adults and 6 kids.Very happy with purchase.

Smoke everywhere
It was very easy to put together. You get what you pay for! It's made of very thin steel and it is not welded properly. It came with a bracket snapped off which luckily I don't need but could be very disappointing for some one else. It seams that everything that is welded is only tack welded (for those who don't know that means it isn't a continuous weld around the joints just spots here and there) which means that heat and smoke can escape easily making it very hard to regulate temperature. Where the main lid meets the body when closed there is a massive gap between the two which again makes it very hard to regulate heat as it is constantly escaping. I'm using it for the first time smoking ribs which is a staple for me but can't keep the temperature so used foil to line the edges of the lid to create a slightly better make shift seal. There must be serious modifications to make this work properly as a smoker. I made a baffle plate out of some old ceramic tiles and have ordered some heat resistant sealant to seal the weld joins. I also ordered some heat gasket tape to put around the edge off the lid to seal it. After this it might just work but it's a lot of effort. My Webber kettle grill is much better but again you get what you pay for. I'm sure this would be fine for grilling but not great as a smoker.

Smoking hot product
Excellent product. I recently bought this smoker as my first foray into smoking. The grill worked wonderfully on its debut and my friends and I enjoyed delicious ribs and a juicy brisket. The 2 reasons for 4 rather than 5 stars were that the lack of a recessed lid on bot the smoke box and the main grill meant there was a fair amount of smoke and heat escape. Also, the machining of the metal was not 100% which meant constructing it did take a certain amount of "encouragement". Still, it was not the most difficult build and the end product was worth the effortI would highly recommend for anyone new to smoking. It's a great starter smoker and the price makes it a great choice

Sturdy and cooks well.
A slight ding on the top lid when it arrived but nothing major. Instructions shouldn't prove too difficult if you're used to putting flat pack furniture together. Cooked a very satisfactory brisket, chicken, and bratwursts. Was pleasantly surprised by the grill coating; it's both non stick and pretty resilient which makes cleaning it a lot easier. Not too fuel hungry either; kept it going for about 7 hours at 250°F at a rate of about 1kg of charcoal per hour. Can't really comment on the fit and finish as I sealed it up with silicone while I assembled it, but it seemed pretty tight to me. Overall happy and pleased I went for this rather than one of the thinner, cheaper options that go for £70-£99.

Good starter smoker
Good oveall design however we had to drill through the pre drilled holes to attached the small smoker compartment to the main piece as the holes didn't line up. Also a small amount of smoke escaping from the lid of the smoker compartment where the curvature doesn't fit exactly to the compartment but didn't make a difference to the overall result. Used twice so far over the weekend and worked well.

Spot On...
Excellent BBQ. Delivered promptly and in great condition (read many reviews about other BBQs - not this one - which arrived dinged and dented, this didn't!).It looks the nuts when set up.It took me c. 2 hrs to put it together, but would have been quicker with a helping hand. You do need basic tools to assemble (drills, wrench, etc.).Overall, study, arrived promptly and in great condition, looks the business, and great value for money... just need to fire it up now!
