(Mostly) exactly what I needed!
Seems the width of the hinge may have been changed at some point since I bought mine, since this wasn’t a drop-in replacement for my decade-old BG2040. I suspect that’s Philips’ doing and not the fault of this manufacturer. Everything else was spot-on, and the portion that had broken on my original was better made on this replacement. All the individual parts ended up being useable, so I disassembled it, swapped all but the hinge over, and now have a 100% functional trimmer again. Plus it arrived way ahead of schedule!
