Elite Gourmet EG808 Compact Non-Stick Electric Skillet, 8"x8" 2.5Qt, Black

I purchased this little skillet to use in my compact RV as a supplement to the small two-burner propane cooktop. This skillet is nicely sized with a vented glass lid and temperature controller. Dishwasher safe, however, I will hand wash the skillet part. I like that it can go straight to the table for serving. Non-stick interior makes for easy cleanup. Cool touch handles and sturdy. Gave it a try at home and it did a wonderful job with dinner. I think this appliance will get a lot of use. Great price point too. Very happy with my purchase.

Go for it! I use it almost daily. It’s lightweight so it’s easy on my hands when it comes to cleaning. The nonstick surface is perfect, nothing sticks, even cheese. It heats up quickly and cools down quickly, too, with even heating throughout. I would purchase again, perhaps the next size up.

Perfect size for large meals. Heats quickly. Everything fits inside the pan for easy storage. Clean up is easy because nothing sticks to the surface. It is well made and durable. If you’ve never use an electric skillet there are always some cooler spots in areas furthest away from the heating element which can result in some uneven cooking. This is easily mitigated by stirring or rearranging the food during the cooking process. I will add that this does heat more evenly than using a huge pan on a stovetop burner that is significantly smaller than the pan(think trying to use a 10-12 inch pan on a 7-8 inch standard large burner on most stove tops.

Cooks great! We enjoy cooking breakfast, burgers, grilled sandwiches, and much more & we take it on family vacations-it’s perfect for so many dishes. Mom always fried Okra in hers. Non-stick and so easy to clean. I definitely recommend it!

I bought this for a recent road trip, and it ended up saving us a lot of money. Instead of eating out for every meal, we were able to prepare several of our own meals. I actually prefer this over bringing a hot plate because everything is in one unit, so I didn't have to pack a separate skillet or pot. It was the perfect size for the two of us. I made pork chops, fried rice, and vegetables, and it handled everything really well. It heated evenly, the nonstick surface made cooking easy, and cleanup was quick with just a little soap and water. It made our trip more convenient, helped us cut down on food costs, I'll definitely be bringing it along again.

I absolutely love it. It’s a perfect size. It’s easy to clean. You can put it in the dishwasher. There is not a thing negative that I can think about it.

Exactly what I was looking for! I live in a very small house without a stove, and this skillet has been perfect for cooking just about anything! I’ve been using it for about two weeks now, and so far, nothing has stuck to the surface. The adjustable heat control is also a great feature, making it easy to cook or warm up food without needing a microwave. The 8x8 size is perfect for at least one person and is surprisingly spacious. On my first day using it, I made 6 scrambled eggs, and they fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare. It’s also a great option if you’re looking for a simple way to cook with less reliance on a microwave. If you live in a small space, don’t have a stove, or just need a convenient skillet for everyday meals, I highly recommend this one!

Excellent skillet! Heats quickly, first used to fry fish and it worked perfectly. Heats evenly, cleaning is a breeze due to ceramic coating. Size is great for a family. Very versatile and so easy to store with the fold-away design. Great for one pan meals, no need to heat up the entire kitchen

Apenas la compré en Diciembre y estamos en febrero y ya se le pega todo... la he cuidado mucho a la hora de lavarla justo como decían las instrucciones y aun así, 2 meses después todo se pega. Al principio funcionó perfectamente, nada se le pegaba. Es una lástima porque de verdad parecía ser un buen producto. NO lo recomiendo ni lo volvería a comprar.

I had ordered a similar product but returned it for a variety of reasons, and then ordered this one instead, even though it cost about $20 more. It is worth every penny and exactly what I wanted. It is solid and sturdy, with a good fitting lid. The sides are straight and don't slope inwards like the other one did, so there is a full 8" cooking surface. It heats up very quickly and has a good non-stick surface. It wipes clean easily and is also dishwasher safe! All around great purchase, and perfect size for a single person meal prep. Highly recommend this one over the cheaper version, definitely get what you pay for with this item.

Degraded so afst... ceramic my ass, took care of it per instructions, and everytime i cook its caked in after and food sticks, i have to saok it and clean it very well now, first 3 or so uses were non stick, not any more.

This is a great little electric skillet. Just the right size for 2 people. It easily holds 2 chicken breasts and you can cook without adding oil or any fats, etc. it truly is a non stick cooking surface. Washing up is a breeze because of the non stick coating. I recommend this for anyone with a lack of space. Its a great little skillet.
