Very compact size when folded and lightweight, fits perfectly in pack for stove and will hopefully hold up to wind. Covers a good area around single burner stove.

Giving it 4 stars mainly due to the metal rods sliding out of the joints and the sharper edges ripping through the cheaper storage pouch that comes with it. Not terrible but also annoying. Not taking that into account, this item worked great. I love how compact it is and it did great with containing the heat of the stove while cooking. Durability appears to be low after a couple uses, showing several dents just from storage with other cooking devices, but time will tell how long this will last. I am not concerned since this is just a heat shield. I do recommend getting one of these with a portable stove. It greatly improved cooking times out on the trails/lakes/campsites of BWCA.

I got this windscreen to make my camping stoves more effective. It indeed is lightweight- very thin plates make this very easy to pack. Some of this off brand equipment can be a bit low quality- but I would not say this about this windscreen. Although you would have to really fail exceptionally to ruin a windscreen. It is sturdy and come with its own carry bag that makes stowing away easy. I found that it worked as expected with my 2 stove types- butane canister and an coleman 525 single burner . I t also keeps the stoves working efficiently by reducing some loss of heat. I you have a really large pot that might not work as well. It did not use it with my alcohol trangia, but I would expect it would perform well since that stove has low profile.

Works great to keep breeze/wind from hampering flame in my ooni pizza oven. The steel ("iron") plates have more mass than aluminum and stay put. The small amount of additional weight is not an issue in my backyard...

I have mixed feelings about this windscreen. It works...when it works. But it is flimsy and if you use a table the poles that secure each section together can fall through easily through any gap. I find on almost every trip I have to put the tiny poles back into the windscreen to make it one whole unit again. It's honestly very frustrating to do this in the dark when I am cooking. Even if you aren't cooking and simply turn it upside down, the poles sometimes come out. Very very frustrating. I'm still giving it 3 stars because it was bargain and when it isn't falling apart, it does keep the stove's flame going strong. It's also ultralightweight. But I will be looking for a different one soon, this one drives me crazy with how often it falls apart and has to be rebuilt.

We have used this windscreen many times. It is very useful on windy days for a small cooking fire, or for use with a back packing stove or camp Dutch oven. It is light weight and serves its purpose well.

The windscreen folds up nicely and is long enough to comfortably surround a spider stove with a Stanley 24oz adventure cooking pot on it (with the handle folded out, as shown in pic). The little slots on the bottom of each panel allows for the spider stove’s fuel line to run under the windscreen and keep its fuel source a safe distance away. I was nervous about the fit but I’m excited to use it in the field and will certainly report back to update my review. As for now, this seems to fit the bill as a sturdy and vital piece of equipment in my pack that I will use for adventure and emergency purposes. My only complaint so far is that the drawstring carrying case arrived frayed... very disappointing, as any solid backpacking/camping product such as this needs an equally solid carrying case—requiring at least a bag that has been sewn together carefully. Disclaimer: I have not used this “in the field” yet and only practiced setting it up at home. Nonetheless, these are my initial thoughts and measurements. Recieved a very bad quality product not a redcamp without a carrying case instead wreapped in a cheap one use plastic wrap and has a lot of sharp edges nearly cut my finger please stay away from this product.
