Big help for ooni pizza oven
Works great to keep breeze/wind from hampering flame in my ooni pizza oven. The steel ("iron") plates have more mass than aluminum and stay put. The small amount of additional weight is not an issue in my backyard...

good value for money
a good lightweight windscreen. has pins to stake in ground. now, i say lightweight because each panel is a very THIN piece of aluminum, which means it is very susceptible to bending. just be careful. if you really mess a panel up, you can take it out and it should still work. now, times that small weight by 8 or 12 and you have a package thats not exactly light, but still worth EVERY gram. looking for a cheap windscreen for your camp/backpack setup? look no further, you will not be disappointed. you want a sturdy screen built to last decades? keep surfin charlie.

Limits the wind manhandling your stove
I got this windscreen to make my camping stoves more effective. It indeed is lightweight- very thin plates make this very easy to pack. Some of this off brand equipment can be a bit low quality- but I would not say this about this windscreen. Although you would have to really fail exceptionally to ruin a windscreen. It is sturdy and come with its own carry bag that makes stowing away easy. I found that it worked as expected with my 2 stove types- butane canister and an coleman 525 single burner . I t also keeps the stoves working efficiently by reducing some loss of heat. I you have a really large pot that might not work as well. It did not use it with my alcohol trangia, but I would expect it would perform well since that stove has low profile.

Excellent for Our Needs
LOL This may be advertised for camping, but I am using it at home to keep our large dog away from our food. She's a gentle hound/lab mix, so her nose is fine-tuned. We've been training, but sometimes her nose leads her astray. When she helped herself to a loaf of bread I had just taken out of the oven, I knew it was time to find a barrier . . . just didn't know what to get. Anyway I happened to see this on Amazon and realized it could be the answer. It's very light, closes up quickly, and blocks our furry girl from taking delicious smelling food from the stove or counter top. I know she could knock it over because it is light, but between the training and the Windscreen (or nose screen, in our case), she's not helping herself to our food. And if we ever decide to go camping, we already have a Windscreen!

It does the job...sometimes. Overall, I am disappointed
I have mixed feelings about this windscreen. It works...when it works. But it is flimsy and if you use a table the poles that secure each section together can fall through easily through any gap. I find on almost every trip I have to put the tiny poles back into the windscreen to make it one whole unit again. It's honestly very frustrating to do this in the dark when I am cooking. Even if you aren't cooking and simply turn it upside down, the poles sometimes come out. Very very frustrating. I'm still giving it 3 stars because it was bargain and when it isn't falling apart, it does keep the stove's flame going strong. It's also ultralightweight. But I will be looking for a different one soon, this one drives me crazy with how often it falls apart and has to be rebuilt.

Defective Product - quality control issues
Rarely if ever give a one star review but this product more than deserves it. This product will be completely useless to use as a windscreen. As soon as I took it out of its sack the rods holding windscreen together started falling out and screens started falling out. You can put them back but nothing will help them stay. One small puff of wind your screen is done. Poor it falls apart. I have similar screens from other companies low priced and high priced. Never an issue. But this product not made to last nor even to use! Also the aluminum is so thin (not super lightweight thru hike cool thin), it bends as easy as a pop can. Put this in your pack and after a hike it will come out wrinkled and crumpled like tin foil. In actuality you would have better luck using a roll of Reyonlds aluminum foil than this thing. Obviously the PRC factory decided to stick it to the customer on this one as quality is glaringly bad.

Perfect for Genesis Jetboil camp stove
I was looking for a more stable windscreen to go with my Genesis Jetboil camp stove. I purchased the REDCAMP 12 plate folding windscreen. It worked perfectly and folded up and put back In it’s own carrying case it fits on top of camp stove to be stored inside jetboil case. I also used it on a windy day to block the wind while starting campfire. Love dual purpose items.
