Review: Great for small spaces! - This is just an incredible product. I bought 2 for the bedroom in my RV because the overhead lighting went out and I needed a temporary solution. 1 would have been good, but on full strength 2 (lights pointed up to the ceiling) light up the room as much as I personal need it. Being able to choose the temperature is a feature I didn't think I would use, but it's a cool little tweek that ends up getting played with more than I thought. I'm light sensitive, and all the adjustments are something I didn't realize would be so important to me. That being said, after 2 weeks I've decided not to fix the overhead lighting. These are THAT amazing. I have these clamped sideways and they will bend down a bit due to the weight, but I was able to adjust the necks in a way where it stays where I need. I know this is not the way it was intended to be used, but know you can if you get creative. It doesn't bother me at all, but the remote is very close to the clamp...about 6 inches. This may be an issue for others. Buttons are solid and straight forward. Seems to be better quality than what I paid for it ($19}

**Q: Does this lamp get hot?**
A: it gets somewhat hot, but you can turn it down and it is barely warm.  It is adjustable for brightness, the brighter, the hotter.   It is perfect for my sewing issues.

**Q: Does the clamp work with the clamping part facing down as on a headboard?**
A: I would say it would but remember the thickness of headboard would have to be less than 2 3/4" plus keep in mind the part that the screws to tighten the clamp needs to have about 3 inches of space between the wall and headboard if that is how you're mounting it.
