though I understand the complaint that these wires are more pricey than usual, their uniqueness totally makes up for the price. you gotta pay for the innovation and the build. first off, the snare buzz is almost completely removed. a miracle. secondly, the sound of the snare drum changes quite dramatically, with reduced overtones and a more woody character. the easy release system is genial, as I'm always trying different snare sounds, so I love to quickly substitute the wires with older/broken ones on specific recordings. no need to recalibrate the laces and all of that messing around. you do it once for good. some of the best money spent on my drum kit.

Bought the "ubiquitous" Ludwig LM402 Supraphonic, and to my surprise hated it out of the box. Couldn't get it tuned to my liking.I have a Gretsch snare that I fitted puresound wires to, so I knew they sounded great already. In that case, I used the 42 strand variant.Swapped out the ludwig snare wires for these, which made a huge difference. (Phase 2 will be fitting a Remo Emperor X to reduce some of the ring).Despite the reports about the speed release being dodgy, never had any issues here. (Search for the youtube video where the guy shows how to fit them through the smaller loop if you struggle).Brilliant wires!

I bought this to replace an ageing Stagg snare wire, which had become floppy and sustained. The brass wires on the PureSound Custom Pro give the snare a lovely crisp sound and the decay on the rattle is just right. The easy release bands are an excellent idea and would be very handy if I was gigging with this kit as they retain the correct tension even after removal and replacement.

Replaced my old snare wires with this product, Strongly recommended by a well known drummer.Certainly correct in that the sound is considerably better both as a new set of snare wires, but also in the resulting sound with this product. No fault there, however, it comes with a great idea, a quick release mechanism that allows you to remove the wires without undoing the butt end or the throw off end.Simple spring clips that pass through a fabric loop and prevents the snare ends from coming away. Unfortunately, the spring clips slid easily through the slot in the snare ends and the snare wires fell off three times in less than as many minutes thus defeating their purpose. Went back to the old mylar straps and nothing fell off after. Product fine, fancy invention.... NO!.

Superb quality with controlled, clean response. The quick release feature and ability to be re-fitted rapidly without releasing the tape clamps is very good. The scale marked on the tapes help too. Only negative is that for me they aren't a great match for a brass drum.

Great sounding snare and very easy to set up correctly.

Well there is an old motto . " buy cheap get cheap ". I used a cheaper snare wire and I suffered terrible over tone , more of a and after shock rattle . Tried to align squarely , increased tension , reduced tension , even tried to reshape snare ends, to no avail . Bin fodder. So absolutely delighted with the Pure sound snares. Fitted, and hey presto instant success. Lovely clear and crisp response , so delighted. Will recommend to all . .

Sound great, the clips are a bit tricky but stay in place and haven't slipped at all. Upgrade your wires, worth it for that nice snappy sensitive snare tone!

Tiene excelente sonido y está muy bien construido, lo único malo que le veo es la correa de nylon tejido con los seguritos, se enchueca todo el tiempo, prefiero las de plástico o los hilos, se mantiene más centrado.

El sonido de una tarola cambia radicalmente con estos entorchado de Pure Sound, siempre qué los he usado estoy satisfecho

La cordiera migliore che abbia mai provato. Suono cristallino, dà maggiore definizione e decisione al suono del rullante. Consiglio vivamente di montarla col classico sistema a nasto o col cordino. Il sistema delle coppiglie è geniale per smontarla in caso di cambio pelle senza smontarla totalmente dal tendicordiera, ma le stesse coppiglie, a causa della tensione, potrebbero deformare gli attacchi della cordiera.

Cordiera fantastica su un rullante Yamaha 14” x 6.5 suona benissimo
