TartexVegetable Pate Organic Herb & Garlic Pate Tubes 200g (Pack of 4)

I've had this before so know I liked it, would not have ordered again otherwise. It has a lovely flavour, herby, garlicky, and makes a delicious sandwich, it's economical, you don't need a lot to get a great taste. My order was delivered soon than expected and was well packaged so no damage to tubes. Just a little tip though, once you've opened it you have to keep it refrigerated, get it out a few moments before use or it can be difficult to squeeze out.

Great flavour and value for money. Arrived early.

Found a mushroom version of this in a local health store and went online to see what others were available; I bought these for my mother who is fasting for LENT (she follows the strictest rules which mean eating only those things which are plant based (i.e. no animal products in any form). She says they're great; taste and texture is wonderful and she uses it both as a snack on rye crackers but also has an alternative for butter on toast. Very very pleased with this and the price meant good value. They arrived promptly with no damage so I'm pleased because my mum's happy!! I would highly recommend for those who are already (or considering) vegan diet.

This tartex paste is delicious

Delicious. Lasts for ages in the cupboard, not so long once open as I eat it rather quickly. My favourite of all the flavours. Even my toddler loves it. I tend to eat it on toast or rice cakes...he eats it straight from the tube if I am not paying attention.Only annoying thing is that it can be quite hard to squeeze from the tube if you take it straight from the fridge (once open), but on the plus side, this forces you to either be organised and take it out earlier, or to slow down and do things more slowly - both of which are good life lessons.

Rather expensive. Good on sandwiches or toast.

Super lecker, ich liebe Tartex schon seit 30 Jahren, aber der Preis ist mittlerweile einfach echt sehr hoch und für mich leider nur noch als gelegentliches Schmankerl möglich.

Yummy! This stuff is excellent on top of crackers and bread.

The product is a great alternative, but the tubes are ill manufactured. They always arrive crumbled and bent. The tubes are also very hard to squeeze, if you keep the product in the fridge. A better, more consumer friendly alternative would be nice
