Good tubing. Better flex than more expensive brands
This is good stuff. It is more flexible than the more expensive brands - I prefer this to them even though it costs much less. I bought a more expensive brand recently because I needed it quickly and it could get here faster then the TetraPond, and I do not like it. TetraPond is durable, flexible, true to size and easy to work with. If you need pond tubing, double check that you have the correct size, and then buy this brand.

Take Note Of The Purpose Of This Hose And Use Accordingly
UPDATE 5/22/17: I have had some discussion with the seller, and will concede the point that I was using this item outside of its intended purpose. The seller was very courteous and seemed genuinely concerned about my mishap. They offered a full refund, which I declined because I will still be able to use this tubing on other projects. I am thoroughly impressed with their response, and would do business with them again.I am leaving the original review untouched below to give context to this update. This was purchased to use with a TetraPond BP1500 filter and Jebao DCS-12000 pump on a 125 gallon turtle tank. This was set up on May 12 and the pump was set to run at the lowest setting. The hose was cut into two sections, one for intake and one for return. During the initial setup, we had serious issues with the intake side leaking around the fitting on the filter. I can't definitively say whether this was an issue with the hose, clamp, or filter fitting. Last night after returning home for work, I found that the hose was spraying water on the side of the tank stand and floor. It had apparently been spraying for a while, and the wooden stand was already swelling to the point that it was a mad scramble to get the tank empty and off the stand. Closer inspection shows the stand, which is only about 2 months old, is now junk. For now, the aquarium is sitting on cinder blocks in my living room until I can find another stand. Inspection of the hose revealed two holes, one rib apart. The rib appears to be missing completely in these two spots. I was able to cut out the bad part and splice it back together with 1" PVC, but I will be trying to locate replacement hose today. There is no way of knowing if or when there will be another failure, but 125 gallons would be a lot of water to end up on the floor - not to mention a burned out pump and the loss of 3 mature Red Ear Sliders. For outdoor use on a low/no pressure line this may be suitable, but I would not recommend using it inside under any circumstances.

Very Disappointed
I've purchased this exact tubing before in both 3/4" and 1" sizes and thought it was the best tubing ever for my pond. It fit all my connectors perfectly to where I could probably have gotten by without even using clamps at all. Then I upgraded my pump and wanted to use larger tubing to take advantage of a larger amount of water flow. Of course, with more pressure going through it, I had to use clamps to hold it to the barbed fittings. It leaked horribly. I tried using pipe tape thread over the fittings before attaching the tubing, it still leaked. I tried using silicone adhesive between the fitting and the tubing and even some more at the end of the tubing, it still leaked. I tried tightening the clamp as tight as I could get it, the tubing tore, it leaked worse. I finally gave up and ordered flexible pvc pipe at a much higher price but hopefully it will work out for me. Of course I have already cut up the tetra pond tubing into pieces trying to connect it to my various pond accessories so it's too late to send it back. At least at the price I paid for this it was an inexpensive although very time consuming lesson learned.

Do not buy!
If I could give this a zero I would…..I hooked it up and less then four hours later the hose busted in two different places! I’m one day out of my return window but I’m going to email and ask for a refund or replacement! Definitely do not buy this product! I’ve never left a bad review on anything but the hoses I’ve been using I’ve had for 3 plus years with no issues…..I’d never imagine they would bust in the middle…..

It’s great, and it’s not
Very flexible, one of the few hoses I’ve found that fits well on my pond pump fittings. It’s relatively inexpensive. However, this is the second hose that I bought - both were plagued with multiple leaks. Evidently very flimsy material. If you don’t mind patching or replacing the hose frequently, have at it.

a little bigger diameter then stated
works as advertised.however, the inner diameter seems a little bigger then stated.my old tubing was a nice fit on my quck connect on the filter.this tubing is a little bigger and i had to use some silicon to get a tight fit.make sure you have some silicone or something else on hand when you want to install it.i have it installed a few weeks now, part of it in the northern California sun and no leaks that i can tell of.\
