A year ago we thought we would treat our fish to this item, at £40 is was more expensive, but we hoped it would last long enough to prove worth the money. After less than a year it become very noisy, it is cleaned and inspected as part of our regular maintenance (100L water change and alternate cleaning of 2 external filters) there was nothing obviously wrong. After fiddling around for a long time I eventually got it to operate quietly for a few hours or a few days but the problem just keeps coming back.
