I have not had the issues other people have said in their reviews. When I put this on to my doors, it went on great and while one coat would have been enough, I decided to put 2 coats on and it looks superb. It is white, not yellow and dried very quick.For prep on the doors, I sanded them down, wiped them with a cloth and then used sugar soap to get the door ready for the paint. After this, I used a small gloss roller and applied the paint. It went on like a dream, stuck to the door, never ran and by the time I was finished the back of the door, the top of the front was getting there with drying. I done the second door, and the first was touch dry.After all the doors were painted, with their second coat, I put the fixings back on and they look good. Maybe others had issues because they used a brush? I don't know but I never use brushes with gloss, only a roller or a sponge brush for panel doors. This has never let me down, so I continue to use this method.It has been a month now and they are still as white as they were when I painted.For the price, this paint is great value for money.

Brilliant paint - needs 2 coats but so easy to apply and brushes cleaned in water. I also apply it with a 4in roller on flat surfaces (doors etc.). Comes in a plastic container- other brands use metal so if the lid goes rusty it falls in the paint. It stays white unlike previous oil based glosses which turn yellow with time. Highly recommended

Hi, I needed some paint pretty quick (Visitors) wanted to freshen up my house but didnt want to really spend a fortune, normally i would by Crown but cash was tight and i did not want to spend £30 on a tin this time,Amazon special offer £19 a 2.5tl tin , Quick Dry Brilliant white gloss,The paint (luckily) had been well packed and boxed NO LEAKS, The difference between Crown is that it is more yogurt like and very smooth i prefer this texture, with NO smell , dries quickly - The dulux is very very runny like milk and does have a strong smell unlike the crown drips everywhere so you have to be mindful not to load up your brush, This Dulux has very good coverage though and to be honest with one can i manged to paint all the door frames in my house, stairs and banister , skirting boards, bathroom and hallway underneath dado rail, got a lot from one tin i must say probaly because it was runny like milk.I think i would maybe buy this Dulux again especially at £19. Excellent a bit pricey but good quality

I have recently moved into my new house and I used this paint for repainting the whole house. I have uploaded a photo so you can see the difference this paint made to my doors, the door on the right has been painted using the Dulux Gloss paint and the door on the left is still to be painted. What a difference, this paint has made, the yellow doors and skirting look brand new and looks so clean and fresh. This paint is the best quality around, so easy to apply with a brush or small roller. I think the best results are achieved when using just a small amount of paint on the brush or roller to prevent any runs, the paint is so quick at drying too, I'd say the paint on the doors was dry within a couple of hours. Highly recommend and will definitely be buying this paint when decorating in the future, it's the best around.Pros- Painted doors look brand new, clean and fresh, good value for money.Cons - sometimes the paint can run when using bigger brushes, much better with smaller brush with less paint.

I have asthma, so can’t tolerate the fumes from oil based gloss, so this product is perfect for me, plus, it dries quickly, and when I say quickly, I mean SUPER quick! In fact, I’d go as far to say that it dries a little too quickly, you have to work really fast to ensure you don’t go over what you’ve already painted, because it’ll have started to set, which makes the painting process tricky and a bit fraught at times. But saying all that doesn’t mean it’s a bad product, far from it, I’m very happy with it, but a word of warning, it’s really thin, I’m talking single cream thin, if you put too much on your brush, it WILL run off, you WILL get drips and splashes if you’re not really careful. My advice is, stick your brush in just a third, and make sure all the drips are off before starting to paint, kind of like stirring a sauce and flicking the drips off your spoon before removing it from the pan, if that makes sense? For paint that’s so thin, I was amazed at the coverage. I would recommend two coats, but I only did one coat on my cream skirting boards and this white covered well enough not to need a second coat. It was dry in 20 minutes. Fantastic. It’s dried nice and hard and shiny, lovely to touch. I can see brush strokes, but that’s from using a cheap synthetic brush. With the right brush, the finish would have been better. All in all, I’m very pleased.

Redecorating the kitchen, & the front door is there, the old oil based paint was pretty yellow (apparently this is due to lack of direct sunlight?) so i figured I'd try this, good make, Dulux, should be great eh?No...No it wasn't great at all....It says it doesn't need an undercoat when going over old paint...you DO need an undercoat...Even after two coats i could still see the old oil based gloss underneath...and it showed up every brush stroke, badly...a terrible finish.Phoned a friend who is a decorator, sadly at the other end of the country so too far away to do it for me, he said to lightly sand the old gloss first, then apply a coat of Zinsser Bulls Eye undercoat/primer, this stuff is brilliant, if you have stains or almost any paint problem a coat of this will sort it!Then slightly we the surface with a damp sponge, then apply a coat of this water based stuff, let it dry again, then again lightly sand to flatten the surface to get rid of the brush marks, dampen again with a sponge, then use a brush with the finest bristles you can to hopefully get a smooth finish.I used a wood stain or varnish brush & it gave about as good a finish as i was likely to get.So in total my door took 5 coats of paint and i still estimate it is only around 50% of the shine you would get from oil based gloss, and i can still see some brush marks.Now sure you could discount the first two coats perhaps, but remember the instruction claim it doesn't need a primer and i followed those instructions to the letter, so I still count them...and recommend a coat of Bulls Eye undercoat...If I'd used oil based I would've given the door a light sand firsts, a wipe down, then two coats of gloss & had a perfect high gloss finish with no brush marks....instead i had to faff around with multiple sandings, primer and 4 coats of gloss...for a very mediocre finish indeed...it is very bright white though I give it that!Ended up taking four days in total, with oil based it would be one or one and a half days!I won't be using again.

Los botes vienen mal cerrados y con un precinto malo. Al venir por transporte, si los botes viajan al revés, la pintura se derrama.

I recommend this product very much. Its easy to use and the finish is good. I used it for doors with a roller so this may have affected the finish which looked more satin than gloss which was fine by me. I bought again ...;))

Peinture facile à appliquer pour un effet effectivement gloss. Rien à redire. Juste à vous la recommander.
